Kindred Hospital Tarrant County - Fort Worth Southwest

The nurses have been very prompt and helpful. It was great that every time I push the call light the nurses would come in and see how I'm doing. At the other hospital I was at, it took some time for them to arrive. Ben was is one of the nurses on the floor has been helpful and thank you sir. Be sure to ask for him. Not every time that you go to hospital when you find a very friendly staff but their staff and nurses here or surely nice and friendly. Would recomend others to Kindred.

I love the nurses at the hospital as they treat me very well. I really like Kristi who is my patient advocate. She visits me every day and likes to ask how I'm doing which makes me feel very comfortable to know that she's always there every time. Lori Duke who is my case manager has been very helpful in providing me all the information that I needed to know regarding my discharge and my plan of care.

The therapist and the pulmonary team have been a very outstanding in providing the care that they have provided me. They help to explain and understand my condition. Allan who put in my IV was very caring and gentle and not hurting me during the time they had to stick me with the IV. The dietary team is another great team who also deserves attention as well. They have great food and help me to read the menu. Overall the care and service has been great.

It's been a great stay and I feel a lot better now than I did before. The pulmonary program that they have a kindred is one of the best and the team are very knowledgeable and respectful. I just hope I don't have to come back but if I do kindred would be my choice. All the doctors and nurses have been very kind and sensitive to my needs.

Dr. Alan helped me to reach my goals and I feel much stronger and more able to cope at home now. All of the nurses have been very helpful during my stay. Thank you George who helped me coordinate my benefits at home. Wasn't for him I think I would've lost all my government service benefits. My son Josh really appreciate him helping me out. The food at the hospital was good but I'm trying to get used to not adding salt. I find very difficult. They really helped me to manage my pain at certain points during my stay was very severe. Thank you. I would d recommend Kindred.

Everyone at the hospital has been so nice. Becky from the housekeeping team has really taken care of my room along with anything that I might need. She is such a blessing. Rome and Carry who were my physical therapy instructors are great at what they do. They like to keep me motivated. Thank you Kindred for taking care of me.

I was at another hospital before I came to kindred. It's been a big difference between day and night in comparison to both hospitals. The staff at kindred really seem to enjoy their job and everyone seems to be very friendly and nice.

Crystal Foster who was one of my techs has been a great person. She comes in my room with the smile just to say hello and to see how I am doing while ensuring all my care is executed to the fullest.

Charlene and Romy who are the occupational and physical therapist at the Hospital are two other outstanding individuals. They really encourage you 110% to give your best. And also to do more then you think you can through encouragement.

Thank you to everybody who has helped me get to where I am now. There's other individuals that do deserve a appreciation as well however I'm not able to recall their names but I just didn't want to leave them out as well. So overall everyone has been exceptional.

It hasn't been the greatest experience to be in the hospital but Kindred has been a good experience which was quite nice. Everyone in the therapy team has been very helpful. I really appreciate all of their support and couldn't do it without them. All the staff in the therapy team are great therapist as they keep you motivated and watch you through the progress of your development. I surely would recommend anyone to Kindred Even my family members. PJ who is a tech there is one of my favorite techs. She has supported me in so many ways. Thank you PJ.

Denise who is one of the night nurses is outstanding, she's on top of everything and she has just been there for me when needed. She goes beyond her call of duty as a standard nurse. She has just been very caring and loving with not only me but I assume other patients as well. I had other nurses who took care of me both day and the night who have been outstanding as well, but I just can't recall their names, but they also do deserve their recognition. Marcos is one of their BEST. Even if he scheduled on another floor and not on the floor that I was on, he still comes down to make a visit and just to say hello and see how we're doing.

My dialysis staff has also been another outstanding team. Carolyn Jones and Eileen Tennyson have been great with performing the dialysis. They know exactly what they're doing and how to perform their duties to the best. If any patients who are at the hospital considering dialysis I definitely would suggest Kindred.

I've been to other hospitals before in the past. If I would've known about Kindred before I would have chosen this place to come to from the very beginning. One of the main reasons is because I was able to be treated by my primary care physician also the services and treatment that they provide at the facility. The staff at Kindred really listen to their patients needs and understands what the patient is needs are. The food for me as a diabetic wasn't quite meeting my expectations. The dietary team was always trying to count my carbs however I preferred a regular diet which is better for me in getting me back to the strength that I needed to be. The entire staff was on top of things, from the housekeeping team, nurses, doctors techs and overall people who have helped me. They work as a team and perform as a team. With the amount of patients that they have, they are still able to perform to expectations. And this comes from the heart and I'm not saying it just to give good praise.

Jamecca has been very professional and goes beyond the call of duty in the care that she provided me. Marcy from therapy has also been a sweetheart. The tech at Kindred have been fantastic there and very much needed in the hospital environment but never get the credit they should. I wish I could remember other peoples names but I'm a little bit older and so remembering names has become a little bit difficult. I definitely would come back to Kindred or any other Kindred locations. What has been great is my insurance company Old Surety wrote to me saying that since I was at Kindred they offered me a $100 voucher to pay for my premium for next month which was very surprising as no other insurance company has done this before. Something very wonderful that has happened to me for the first time when dealing with insurance.

The entire team at kindred, from the doctors to the nurses have been fantastic. They have taken great care of me during my time there. Their food is good but sometimes I wish they can do just a little bit better by adding more variety. The only suggestion that I would ask them to improve would be the night team nurses. I feel that they could use some improvement regarding their hospitality. I would like to give a five star to Dominique Baker for her care, service, hospitality and overall attention to my needs. My room at the hospital wasn't that big I wish it could've been bigger, but is the hospital. My roommate has been friendly all the time and we've been able to talk about multiple things which made it more comforting to have someone to talk to. Thank you to everybody.

I'm going to give credit where credit is due. I have been tired all the time, sleeping through the day and depressed. I was pretty much housebound and couldn't walk because I couldn't catch my breath. I was on oxygen 24/7. So I went to see my general practitioner at his office Dr Bishop and ask for a different pulmonologist. So he referred me to Dr. Boddie which he later referred me to Kindred.

Everybody all the hospital from the nursing, administration, therapy team, housekeeping team and the dietary team were very positive and wanted to help in every way possible. They never made me feel like I was being a bother but getting me better was their main objective. I would like to give credit to particular individuals however I would feel that I am leaving others out who also deserve credit as I cannot remember all their names. Thank you to the pulmonary and respiratory team for having such a great program. I would surely recommend anybody to come to kindred if you're considering.

Thank you for letting me be one of your patients at your hospital. Didn't expect to have a good experience at any hospital, but I do have to say this experience was one of the best. It wouldn't be that way if it wasn't for your team going above and beyond service and care. Lamis who is one of your ambassadors has done a great job and looking after me and making sure that all my special requests were fulfilled. Also PJ who is one of the techs is one of the greatest techs I've ever had. If there were more of her, your hospital would be a five star. I would surely recommend anyone to Kindred.

I really like this hospital. The nurses and doctors here are outstanding and have taken care of me very well. Only had one bad experience with the call light as it took some time however they are always able to get to me and my needs. I have been to Kindred before and its the main reason that I come back. Their nurses and doctors are just some of the best people and just know how to take care of poeople. Thank you to the respiratory team and the physical therapy team. All of you have done a great job in getting me into a better shape than I was before. I hope I don't have to come back but if I do, I will surely think of you. God bless you all.

I'm happy to provide a review especially since they deserve it. All the staff have been very kind and helpful in my recovery. Not one staff deserves more praise than another as all of them have been over-the-top. The food at the hospital is really good too as I wish I had it at home. Maybe it's because I don't cook and more. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses for taking care of me while at your hospital.

It's been a long process in and out of the hospital. Here at Kindred Southwest has been one of the greatest Hospital experiences; the staff took really good care of me day and night. Pamela (PJ) and Beverly were amazing Techs and never missed a beat. Dr. Adamo was a fantastic doctor with excellence bedside mannerism, and communicated very well my plan of care here. The HBO team was Amazing, I never would have imagined an experience of healing so great. From the wound care team, dietary, nursing, Susan my CM, and even house keeping (EVS) did an excellent job. I would recommend this hospital to everyone and anyone. Thank you KSW for all you have done for me!

On my first visit I was very impressed with Tracy and how she ran the program. I was very pleased about the professionalism and knowledge that she had. Ken and Tonya really led up the program and kept me active and motivated.

My doctor actually referred me to kindred and I think you made a good choice. I didn't know that Fort Worth had a facility, I always drive by the Kindred in Arlington from time to time. Their facility is very nice and clean very well organized area and everybody knows what they're doing. The staff is very good at what they do. I only had one upset with one staff but we got that straightened out, thanks to the help of Rob. All the staff down to the kitchen have been very pleasant and very kind. It's very peaceful here. I came in very sick and I have come about 45% and have a little bit ways to go. Thanks to PJ she is awesome, she's one of the Techs at Kindred. Dardy Who is a nurses is such a joy! She brings a smile to my face. I don't think I can make it through the day if it wasn't for her smile.

Dr. Rangineni who is my wife's doctor is one of the best. Thanks for all that you have done and also thank you to the other doctors and nurses for your kind care for my wife. Almost forgot the food here is twice better than it is at Harris ha ha.
