Kindred Hospital Tarrant County - Fort Worth Southwest

I,ve been coming to the outpatient pulmonary program for around 18 weeks. Today is my final graduation! I feel that the program was very beneficial. I would like to point out that I thought Tracy organizing the program pooled great leverage on my development. She was excelled at the consulting aspect of the program. I've got more energy now and I can walk further. I think its part group learning process and each team member motivating one another and Tracy urging us to do our best.

Since the day my husband was admitted into Kindred, he has had nothing but top-notch care. He was on a ventilator, and a trake while not being able to move at all. His also couldn't even say his own name. Less than two weeks while being at Kindred, they were able to remove his trake. The doctors at Weatherford Regional said he wouldn't be able to survive which was on May 5th, 2016. Now he is soon to be discharged home. All the nurses , doctors and physical therapy have gone above and beyond . I really wouldn't like to recommend anybody to the hospital but I would recommend Kindred. I just want everyone to know how much what you guys have done and there is no better way to do it, then with the review.

It's my fourth visit since January of this year. For the most part everybody is great, the staff works well with me, and the dietitian has been great with my allergies. They do their best to make me comfortable, with the exception of one ICU nurse who was reluctant to listen to my complaints about my IV which clotted and close the blood clot in my arm. I would come back and I'm not going to let that experience ruin everybody else's hard work.

Every body has been fantastic and not one individual should deserve more attention than the other. A really great place to come to for healthcare. The staff deserves a five star for all the hard work that they do.

It's always nice when you're able to give a good review to a place that was able to make me feel better. I have been to Kindred before so when I got sick again I decided to come back to Kindred because I know the place and I know that they will take care of me. Dr. Ferree Who is my doctor has been great. Thank you to the entire staff and doctors for all that you have done. Keep up the good work.

A 3-4 star because everybody can always develop and perform a little bit better. One of the good things that I will give them a 5 star for is my progress. I have gotten a lot better than before I came in. I coded 3 times in the ambulance before arriving at the hospital and I can't recall anything. I woke up at the hospital not knowing exactly where I was. After I came through they informed me about what happened. I was a bit surprised.



One of their nurse is named Chris was a fantastic caretaker. He was very easy to talk to and helped me out with my daily task which was very difficult for me to perform during my recovery. He was also very knowledgeable and his job which made me feel very confident that I was at the right place. Emily who is another nurse at the hospital is also very good at what she does. She was just very easy-going and also helped me out when I needed it. Dr. Clark was a great doctor as he explained everything to me and what they were going to do to help me.

The people here are really nice and know exactly what they're doing. I really appreciate mr Dr visiting me every day to see how I'm doing. Makes me feel at ease. The housekeeping team at the hospital is so nice and clean. Always paying attention to detail when it comes to cleaning my room. Their food is also good just wish they had more Mexican food. I definitely would recommend this place.

It has been a great experience here at Kindred as an outpatient for the pulmonary program. I was referred by my doctor to go and see Tracy and she came in highly recommend it for the pulmonary program that they have. I have been coming to see Tracy for around three months but three times a week. What I have is COPD which is noncurable however Tracy has taught me how to live with what I have and to make the most out of my daily life. She has taught me multiple breathing techniques which has helped me in my daily activities of getting around the house or going outside. I really like that she is very open to communication and has unique ways of explaining things. Today I am coughing much less and with less mucus. What I will take home with me and will remember is the breathing techniques that allows me to control my breathing. I would surely recommend anyone with the condition such as mine, to go and see Tracy and would recommend Kindred to any friends.

I have been to other hospitals before such as Harris and Granberry hospital. I do understand now why Kindred has so many good reviews because they are doing something different there. My doctor actually referred me, Dr. Schultz. I was admitted with the wound on my lower leg. It looked bad when I first came in but now is much better. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would say my improvement is a 9. Thank you for helping me with my recovery. I wanted to give some good recommendations to a few of the stuff that they have their who performed really well. Mel who was one of my nurses is very cheerful and she likes to smile. Brightens up your day when you're feeling down. She's also very helpful when you need things. Marty who is one of the tech is another good person. Probably one of the best techs that they have. And Alex who is a nurse just helpful in multiple ways and extremely knowledgeable. Thank you for all you've done and would recommend Kindred to anyone.

I would definitely recommend this place to anybody looking for a good hospital to go to. Everyone on their staff is so friendly and the therapy team does outstanding work. Thank you for all you done.

I wouldn't be in the hospital if it wasn't for Girling Home Health. They were the one that actually referred me to Kindred. But the nice thing was they sent an ambulance to pick me up and do all the transfer. Rhonda who works for Girling said that Kindred was supposed to be a good place. I was a little skeptical because I never heard of them before. And when I got there, surprisingly it was a good place. They treated me very well. The food wasn't that good but the staff that they have are great. A lady by the name of Marcy who works in the therapy team is a great person, she makes me laugh. If I do have to go to any hospital I deafly would come back to Kindred and would refer anybody. In the little town but I come from I would definitely come back.

Sounds foney but everybody at this Hospital or so nice and caring. I keep coming here because they know me and I also know them and really trust this place. everytime I come back the care is always good and the people are terrific.

The care is also very good as well as I have been here before and the reason why I keep coming back. but the overall care and service here is one of the best. Recommendation for anyone looking for a place for your family or yourself do consider Kindred

just wanted to say thank you to all the nurses, doctors and techs who have been taking care of me. Mel who was one of my nurses was a fantastic caretaker. Lamis who was my Ambassador was very helpful as well as she checked up on me every day just to see how I was and if I needed anything. I don't remember some of the other people's names who were my nurses however they were terrific caretakers as well. really everyone has been gracious.

I have been coming to Kindred outpatient wound care for some time now and will be discharged very soon because my wound has healed very well. I have been to other wound care facilities located in downtown Fort Worth which is no comparison to the Kindred outpatient wound care. The other wound care facility did not even do a culture to figure out what I was infected with. When I came to Kindred they perform a culture test and found out I was positive for MRSA. Since I have been coming to Kindred my wound is now superficial as before it was deep into the bone. I would like to say thank you to everyone who has helped me. I feel much better now and my wound definitely looks 100% better. If you're considering he wouldn't care facility do choose Kindred. The staff there are so friendly and nice and very caring about you and the work that they perform.

I don't know who to thank but everybody has been so kind and sweet. Thank you to my doctor for referring me to Kindred. I appreciate all the care and service that I have gotten from all the staff. I really love my room which gave me a lot of privacy. I do feel better now than I did before and I owe it all to you. Thank you for everything.

It's been a great experience and the people there are so nice. Jay who was one of my night nurses was so funny, she helped In lifting my spirits. One of the guys that I remember very well was David who is very gentle when performing a procedure. The food is good to not that bad in comparison to hospital food. I'm glad that I chose this place for my treatment.

I keep coming to kindred because I've had family who has stayed here before. This will be my third time at Kindred Southwest. My Doctor Who is Dr. Adamo does his rounding at this facility and I like to follow him because he has been looking after me for multiple years. I like to come back to this hospital because I've been here before and the people seem to know me by name. I was admitted with pneumonia about two weeks back but feel much better now. What I really like the most about this facility is that they have a lot of nurses that are super caring. They like to pop in my room and say hello, how are you doing, can I get you anything and it makes me feel great. But wanted to send a thank you to Linda who looks after me as she has been very helpful in getting the things that I need to get done. I would recommend this place to anyone considering the hospital as a staff here are friendly, nice, outgoing and helpful. They also acknowledge your family member and I like that.

I was at home with home health and my nurse who visits me regularly asked me to go and get my wound inspected at a wound care center. After going and seeing the wound care doctor they looked at my wound and suggested that I go and get admitted into a facility for further treatment. They suggested that I go to Kindred Southwest. I've never been there before and I never heard of the place. After being at Kindred for about two weeks they gave me anabiotic's that helped my wound. I can actually walk much better now than before. Just want to say thank you for helping my wound. I would suggest anyone who has a wound to consider kindred as they have staff that will surely help you to recover and their team is great. Their location is kind of hard to find as it's located directly down the hill.

I've been with kindred a total of three times and this is my third visit. I keep coming back to kindred because everyone is very helpful and everyone seems to know me by my name. Todd has been looking after me about three times now since my start of my visit. Can't give enough kudos to him for doing such a great job and looking after me. Thank you for everything and hopefully I don't have to see you soon.
