Great Customer Service, did my transmission a year ago had no problem until just recently, took it back in so they could have it checked and fixed the problem with free of charge.. Fully recommend them, very reliable...

After just over a month of my mom not having a car, going to no less than 3 reputable places to pin point the PROBLEM with a 2005 Cadillac SRX (what a nightmare)!! But not with Alonso Transmission! Ray, Rafael and the rest of the staff have been nothing but top notch. Ray being the heart and soul of this business was honest, forthcoming and hard working to earn our trust and business. If you have transmission problems, don't waste your time like we initially did, just go straight to where honesty counts and excellent work speaks for itself.

The place to go when it comes to transmission for your car. My mom spent weeks trying to find the perfect shop or mechanic to finally see what was wrong with her 2006 Suzuki Reno. Lots of mechanics did not bother in actually diagnosing what was wrong with the transmission and they all assumed that the transmission was messed up and the solution was getting a new one. For this car the transmission is about 2000 K just because is a transmission made in Germany and it just is really expensive. So she found Alonso Transmission, she called and they both talked about the car, first thing he asked or suggested was to diagnose the transmission, because this car a usual problem with the transmission sensor, really its very common in this car. Then he offered a tow truck service for the car which was not able to drive and was parked. So it turns out that mom didn't needed a new tranny but a new sensor. So honesty, actually wanting to help out and find out what the real problem was, warranty, and excellent costumer service, no wonder the first thing when i put an A near Miami, FL the first to pop up is Alonso Transmission. Mom is happy, worry free and my wallet needs no patch! Thank You!

While I still admit the customer service is great here at Alonso, I am not certain that the repair work was what I paid for. After $4000, a new transmission and a few weeks of trouble shooting, I am still unable to drive my car at high speed without a strange vibration - even after an additional repair for an additional $450 at a separate repair shop as recommended by the folks there at Alonso Trans. I am hopeful that they can help me rectify this issue soon!



UPDATE: Not only did they figure out what the problem was, but they also arranged for me to get some extra things done for my car. It is now driving better than ever. So I now wholeheartedly think that both the customer service AND the workmanship here at Alonso Transmission is top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone.

Customer Service is alive and well here at Alonso Transmission. I was directed to this shop through a close mechanic friend and they immediately helped me on my beloved Escalade. It was leaking much oil and they were very professional in the handling of it. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone. Much thanks to Ralph and Ray for this great experience

I want to thank Ray for his highly professional and quick service.He had been recommended to me by a close friend, Ray kept me informed with the issues of my truck not only did he took care of the problem but he went the extra mile. I was told by the dealership that I needed a new transmission and that it was going to cost me over $5000 on a 2003 Altima. I was given the name of Alonso Transmission and not only did they tell me I did not need a whole new transmission, but they fixed the problem, along with several other issues (mounts, bearings, etc that I'm not mechanical enough to remember), but they did it for less than HALF the price quoted by the dealership where I've been going for over 10 years. Will I recommend this business, YOU BET. They were couteous and got the job done in just 2 days. 5-stars in my book.

I want to thank Ralph from Alonso Transmission. His willing to help and professionalism helped me tremendously on saving quite a few dollars on my vehicle. Mind you all his help was via phone and knowing that I was only shopping for prices and he was not going to do the work, he made it a point to still help me. I have had several dealings with Alonso transmissions and each time they have gone over and above what was expected. I had a transmission go bad and I had it rebuilt in IN before coming down here. Not only did they rebuild the transmission to repair a broken part, they offered to warranty the entire transmission using the previously installed new parts! They not only service what you bring in but they go the extra step to thoroughly check out the vehicle and let you know if there is anything else that you should be aware of. Have total trust in the service technicians and Ralph is just excellent to work with. Only place I would ever consider to have work on a drivetrain issue in Miami, excellent service.

I had my transmission repaired at Alonso’s in December 2011. I spent $1,500 for the job. All was well for about a year and 3 months but then the front seal started leaking. Alonso’s wanted me to cough up another $675.00 for that. OK fine, I understand warrantees don’t last forever but come on. I don’t think it is unreasonable to ask for 4 or 5 years without any transmission problems after dropping that much money on the rebuild. Unfortunately Alfonso’s did not agree with me.

I contacted Alonso Transmission to request a quote to replace my clutch and master cylinder. From the moment I spoke to them, I was impressed by their professionalism and great attitude, as well as their knowledge of their craft. Ralph was extremely helpful, and offered excellent prices for the work. I then visited the shop the following day to drop the car off. The shop was really neat and organized, and they took my car in, filled out all the paperwork and promised to deliver the car within 2 days. They completed the work the following day, and promptly gave me a courtesy call to let me know the car was ready. I was really impressed with the results, and the car runs great. Again, Ralph was very professional and offered a complimentary follow-up inspection in 10 days to inspect the work and make sure I was satisfied. Their prices were incredibly competitive, and I’m planning on doing all my future maintenance work with them.
