Alonso Transmission

Took my 99 Honda Odyssey to Alonso Transmission service is excellent. Thank you Ray for the wonderful job and the service that they provide me. now my mini van is driving perfect.

When my transmission went I didn't know what to do. My car was a 2007 and everyone told me to junk it...but the car only had 56,000 miles on it and was in very good condition. After getting a few quotes I decided to have it towed to Alonso Transmission on the recommendation of someone I trust. After 1 conversation my mind was eased a bit because I knew that Ray was going to make it a black and white decision on what to do. Ultimately after looking at the car he told me what I already knew, that the car was in excellent condition except for the fact that the transmission was done.



I decided to get it replaced despite many people telling me I was crazy. I believe I told Ray to replace it (with a brand new transmission, not a rebuilt is what he told me they would do) on a Wednesday and told me it should be done on Saturday. To my surprise I received a call from them on Friday afternoon telling me that it was ready to be picked up. Excellent doesn't begin to describe Alonso.

This is the best garage I have ever dealt with. They are professional and the best customer service I have had in quite a long time.

I took them my 78 Jeep Cherokee and they worked on it till they had it right.

Ralph and Ray and the mechanics are very knowledgeable and I will not trust anyone else when it comes to Transmission, Transfer case and differentials. They have a customer for life!

I was referred to their shop by a friend. I did not get estimates from other transmission shops for bad synchros and other things but I decided to go with alonso transmision for their years of experience, their facility, professional staff and how well they explained everything. The work was done quite fast and although price was more than quoted, I was satisfied with the job. I would definitely go there again for any transmission repair needs.

I stopped by Alonso Transmission as my check engine light had turned on and I thought I might need some work done on my transmission. When I arrived, I was greeted in a very courteous manner and my children were even given toys to keep them entertained while we waited. They quickly diagnosed that my car's problems were not transmission related and even recommended where I could go to get the repairs done. I strongly encourage anyone with transmission problems to visit Alonso Transmission.

Make sure you ask for Ray. He was incredibly honest and helpful. He answered all of my questions and made sure I was completely satisfied with my experience. If I ever have car trouble again I will be sure to go to Alonso Transmission. They are first class!

Be sure to ask for Ray. He will patiently explain everything and answer all questions. After repairs are done and you pick up your auto, Ray will go through the bill with you, slowly, line by line. Ray may make recommendations while your vehicle is in process of being repaired but without the hard sell. Again, very patient and will slowly explain everything.

Bottom line..."Excellent customer care!!!"

Very friendly , great service, I was having trouble with my truck that nobody could figure out the problem. I dropped it off on a Monday it was ready on Thursday as promised and now works perfect ! Great job !!!

My Dodge Dakota has been having all kinds of problems for a couple of years now and lately it had been getting worse. A bunch of lights turning on and the engine sputtering like if it did not have enough gasoline. I went to Alonso Transmission because of the great reviews. I'm the most skeptical person in the world, specially when it comes to auto mechanics. But from the moment I walked in these guys treated me with respect. After a quick test drive Ralph (owner) suspected a computer problem. During the test drive he was able to make all the issues surface. I ended up needing a new computer (ECM) after all and my car now runs like new. Although its 10 years old it's such a great feeling to know I don't have to buy a new one since it performs so well now. Even my alarm which had not worked in years started working! Ray was very courteous throughout the process. He kept me informed every step of the away. I definitely will recommend this place to anyone that wants honest service at reasonable prices.

Stranded at a McDonalds with a broken clutch, we were fortunate to have found Alonso Transmissions online. They dispatched a tow truck, called us when the car arrived, evaluated the repair and worked with us to get it fixed at a reasonable price. Their service and professionalism are second to none. I took my car to Aamco transmission at 7247 SW 40 st in Miami, Fla. Aamco advised me that it was some parts bad in the transmission and to open up the transmission was $325 plus whatever others parts bad once they open transmission and it will cost me up to $1,300, I did not Aamco trans believed them. I took my car to Alonso transmission at 7007 SW 13 Ter in Miami,Fla. and inspected my car and told there was nothing wrong with transmission, only missing 1 quart of transmission oil. Aamco transmission wanted to run away with my $1,300.

Alonso transmission they are most honest transmission place in Miami, Fla for sure.

I went because of the reviews and now I"m writing one. These people should be in the restaurant business , they would make a killing.

They treat you like you're the only customer in the world (a good thing). They rebuilt my transmission and my car now runs better than when new. The gears shift so smooth, I can't believe it. They are the best !!!!

Another satisfied customer here. Quality service. This is my go to place for transmission issues. I wouldn't trust just any ole mechanic with replacing my transmission. Going to Alonso I know I am dealing with professionals. I was told the job was going to take 3 days and I received a call on the 3rd morning letting me know my vehicle was ready for pickup. I love that. Also had an issue with something else which they resolved without an additional charge. Thank you.

Great experience with these guys. Ray, their service manager, was awesome and was very willing to help out his much as he could. He even asked me to come back in 10 days for a free follow-up to ensure the work had been done well the first time. Highly recommend Alonso's.

Excellent customer service! Took our car here to get a 2nd opinion after being told that it had "transmission issues" at another shop. The technician spent over an hour looking at the car and didn't charge us anything because he couldn't find any issues. It is rare to take your car for a repair and not have the shop find some little thing they can fix to make $. Appreciate their honesty!

I just took my 2010 VW Jetta that had work done at the dealership twice for the transmission and then again to change it completely. After 3 tries and still problems, I took my car to Alonso. I had two other cars that I brought here and both times they did a great job and this time around, they didn't disappoint either. It hurts my pockets when ever I have to spend anywhere lol but well worth it with them. Funny staff also by the way lol...
