It was a pleasure dealing with both Ralph and Ray. It had been a while since I had experienced true customer service. My transmission was put in within 24hrs and my truck is back on the road. Ray is a Gentleman and probably the biggest asset in the Organization. Mr. Alonso has to be proud to have a person of his caliber heading the Company as if it was his own, I will recommend the BEST Shop in Miami any day.

From the minute I pulled into the parking lot Ray and Ralph assisted me with my Isuzu Rodeo. They fixed the transmission in a timely manner and even offered to come in on a holiday just to return my vehicle. Every one at the shop was very courteous and I even learned a thing or two about transmissions. I highly recommend everyone to stop by and get your car repaired, Cuban Coffee is optional.

Anytime something goes wrong with a transmission it can be a scary experience both on the road and after the problem has been evaluated. Alonso's first walked me through how the problem ocuurred and then took the time to continually keep me updated as repairs were being done. Rey & Ralph were very courtesious and professional throughout the entire process, always taking time to take my calls and answering my questions. On 01-01-15 I was on my way to spend the day with dear friends, all of a sudden my car went kaput in the middle of the road. I immediately called AAA and was towed back home and was told that apparently my transmission was shot. This was my second visit to Alonso Transmissions. On both occasions they were very friendly, honest and quick to advise what the problem was. I have recommended them to several friends with transmission problems and they were also very satisfied. Both Rafael and Al were fantastic! I was even given a ride home by Alonso Senior!!! Who does that in Miami???? Great service and prices!

I was referred by a friend who strongly recommended Alonso Transmissions and they did not dissapoint. I went by because i have a stick shift car and was having trouble with my transmission, surprisingly enough. I took it to several mechanics and they all seemed to instead of helping me, make me even more frightened about whatever problem my car had. None of them told me what it really was instead they just kept telling me all of these different high prices I might have to pay for my transmission problems. Today I came across Alonso Transmission because my car broke down..having spoken with 3 auto repair shops before them to all say the same thing my transmission needed to be replaced however when I spoke to Ralph...he was amazing he eased my concerns to advise me my problem may be a cable from what I told him.. he then proceeded to advise me he could send a tow truck since my car was stranded...wow I thought this is great...when I was ready to have my car picked I then spoke with Ray which too was amazing..he worked promptly to ensure the tow truck got there quickly...when I arrived I met them both..very impressed of how I was treated ... I felt I was like the only customer there...Ralph was right it was only the cable.. the bottom line is Ray's customer service skill the joy for which he runs his business and his amazing treatment is why I left there with a smile even having spent money that I didn't have...I was blessed to have met these two fine men as well as their talented crew...honesty, being real and having ethics is why I am writing this review.. I highly recommend this fine shop to anyone..I will be back as well as recommend them to my large family and friends...they know what and they do it well, my car is running great.. thank you guys for what you do!!!!

This has to be the best shop in South Florida. It's the best customer service I have ever had! Ray is beyond great with his customer service, and they are sure to treat you like family. Everyone is extremely friendly and also extremely knowledgeable. They did an utterly amazing job with my 2006 GTO, and I couldn't be happier. I would recommend this shop to anyone who has any transmission problems. 5 stars in every category!

Last week I noticed that the transmission on my Cadillac Escalade was slipping. A day later, it would not shift out of first gear. I was very worried as repairs on an AWD Escalade are extremely expensive, and sure enough, my warranty just ran out. I called the dealer, and was told they had 6 days worth of backlog, and they gave me a rough estimate of $5k to $8k. The service advisor actually recommended I just get "rid" of my truck. My husband found Alonso Transmission online, met Ray, and we decided to let them repair the truck. A week later, I basically have a new transmission, new mounts and an oil cooler that should have been in my truck from factor but was never installed. Both Ray and Ralph were FANTASTIC and went above and beyond to make sure everything that needed replacing was replaced. They kept us updated on the progress of the repairs on a daily basis. I have had this truck for 5 years now and it NEVER ran this smooth. It feels like a new truck. What did it cost me? Thankfully much less than the dealer's lowest quote. These guys are the best in town and care about having satisfied customers. Don't hesitate to take your car to them!

I replaced my transmission with a used one I bought because of past bad experiences with other transmission shops. When I tested the transmission, it had a problem with 3rd gear it would do a bang when shifting. I was told to go see Ralph at Alonso Transmission by the junk yard I bought the transmission from, when I arrived I was attended by Ralph I explained to him the problem. He plugged a Snap-on computer to my car and did some reprogramming. After that he drove my car with me and the problem was magically gone! He explained to me the issue he corrected. I asked him how much? It was a very low reasonable amount considering he reprogrammed the computer. Didn’t even use my credit card how low the amount was. I felt like I was ripping him off because of the low price. I will always go back for all future transmission problems. Very honest and professional people. Go to Alonso Transmission and get the truth about your transmission problem. A+ in my book. Thank You Ralph.

One day 2 weeks ago my car started with a banging on tge floor and I couldn't drive it over 30 miles/hr.

I started researching online for places to bring it to be fixed. After a while I found out about "Alonso Transmission"....I read lot of reviews and ratings about them and drove to their place. To leave my car was quick. I was having a car from a friend during the days of the repair. I never expected to take so long: 10 daya to have it ready.

It's true, they are expensive but they know what to do.

Ray and Ralph: Extreme Customer service at its maximum expression!

I can't forget to mention that Ralph gave me a Porshe for the days the car had to be with them. Awesome detail.

Finally my car is back home and I'm very happy with the work done. 12 months guarantee was given by them and I appreciate it very much.

These guys are legit, great customer service. Ralph was awesome took my car in they checked it out and come to find out it was just low on Fluid, they filled it up for free!! I highly recommend Alonso Transmission.
