Benchmark KC, LLC

I have been in my Benchmark home for less than a month and I'm completely thrilled with the entire process it took to get me moved. I am a tenant who moved from another state. I called Benhmark and they set me up with their listing agent Nick. He was professional, courteous, and seemed concerned with what I wanted and needed in a home. He showed me a few homes and once I found the home that I wanted, he got the ball rolling. EVERYTHING was done through phone, email, and fax. On move in day, there were a couple of problems with keys and such and Nick was right on top of it. There were some home improvement things that needed to get done as well and they were done in a very timely manner. I have not been a long standing tenant but hope to be! Benchmark has certainly helped moving to a new city an easier transition!

Benchmark is a great company to get a house from. They were very prompt when me and my fiancee called the number that was posted in front of a house that is now ours. Nick, our agent called us right back and gave us a full descriptive detail about their company, the house, and how they do business. Our whole experience with Nick was nothing but amazing, and the house that we now rent is amazing and we love it. Thanks once again Nick and the Benchmark family. Renting from Benchmark has been an amazing and pleasant experience. I moved into my home almost one year ago. From the day I meet with the renter to moving in has been nothing but great. When I place a work order, they are out to my home and everything is fixed in a timely manner, and the worker/maintenance guy(s) always clean up after they are done with the work order. At this time there's nothing I can say negative about this company. It's a great company to rent from and the staff is very pleasant.

I really like that work orders are tended to right away and that we are given a call before maintenance enters the home.

I am grateful to Benchmark for my house. At first the house was a mess, but they came in and did MAJOR remodeling. That was a surprise! I haven't had any problems since!

Benchmark has great Leasing Agents. When I was searching for a home I went to Craigslist and that's when I saw the home of my dreams. I called Rachel and she was amazing so kind and friendly, she made me feel very comfortable. She is very down to earth and my experience with her assured me "THIS IS IT"!!!

Everything in the house was new and ready when we moved in. When we schedule maintenance, the staff member is driving a company vehicle, on time and dressed professionally. We sure would recommend you folks to anyone who wants a great rental home, in fact we have.

I've been dealing with Benchmark for sometime now, and I've had such a great experience. I just love my home and I plan to be there for awhile, there is nothing like having a beautiful home with a great landlord.

this company is an absolute disaster. First we called to look at a house, scheduled a viewing, showed up to the house and it seemed that the agent forgot all about us. We waited for literally 30 min before a different agent who just so happened to show up with another couple to show them the house let us in as well. Not only was the agent rude, he treated all of my questions with disdain. I asked about flooding in the basement and he acted like he didnt understand my question.. right. Then, about a month later, just today actually, I called about another property that I saw online and thought we would give them one more try. I was informed by the agent that the house has been rented for the last 3 months and that almost all of their properties online are not even for rent anymore. This company is by far the most unprofessional, ill-mannered, and all around shady rental company. I cant believe the attitude i just received on the phone. sorry the website says the house is available. how am i to know its not? I would give negative stars if it was possible. Im beyond disgusted

Do not rent from them. We rented from them the summer of 2011 and wwere told that if we had any issuse with the home submit a maitnance order and it would be fixed. Needless to say thats not what happend. The sewer in the basement kept backing up and the basement door had no lock on it. They where to replace the lock but didn't. Instead they put a pad lock on the door. Now how well is that going to work in a fire situation. The had just finished rehabing the home before we moved in but all they did is basicly patch holes,paint and put in cheap cabinets. Not worth the money they where asking for.

Do not rent from them!! We have lived here 3 months and we do not have a working furnace!!!! They are well aware it does not work and has not worked from day 1, they just don't want to replace it!! The gutter leaks, which they said they would fix day 1. And they will not give us a screen door for the back sliding door saying "it is a waste of their money". You have to submit work orders online. Well no one ever gets back to you, they just show up at your front door whenever they feel like it. I will not be renewing our lease and may in fact break it soon!!
