Benchmark KC, LLC

I can't say enough about them, they are helpful, courteous, have dealt with us fairly and with integrity. I would recommend them to anyone looking for great property to rent, with a stand up company.

My family has had such a great experience with Benchmark. Our home was and still is a great value and the few minor maintenance issues we have had over the months were addressed promptly and professionally by Benchmark. I am very happy that when we sold our home and decided to lease that we chose Benchmark! thanks again!!

Well I like to say I'm very happy with the rehab benchmark did on our house im absolutely pleased .and the things they did miss they got in done like promised

1 year ago I was planning on moving back to the KC area after having lived in California for 20 years. Needless to say, it was a very huge endeavor and I was really overwhelmed with how to find a rental. My father met with JR from Benchmark, once I found an ad for a rental in Blue Springs that looked really great. My dad had a great experience with meeting with JR and seeing the property. They worked out all the paperwork and dealt with me mainly by email, which was very convenient. The house was in good condition inside, except not as clean as I expected. The major complaint I have is the lawn. TONS of weeds and dirt, no grass, dead bushes and they weren't willing to do anything about it to make it better. The work orders I've placed in the last year were all dealt with in a timely manner with really great maintenance guys! The house has been a nice fit for me, but I won't be extending my lease since I'm buying a house in Lee's Summit. One other complaint I have is that when I asked if I could possibly do a month to month lease, once my year was up, due to me trying to find a home to buy, they told me no. I've been an excellent tenant for Benchmark (they stopped doing the quarterly check ups because the house is always in perfect condition) and I was sincerely disappointed that they wouldn't consider making an exception for a tenant that has taken great care of their property. I would recommend them to others.

I am new to Benchmark. Since I have moved in the staff have been nothing but friendly. Had one mishap when we moved in just was told certain things were going to be done to the house. Which lead us to pick this house were in that was false information. That lead to a huge misunderstanding. Other then that , is a great place to live. Maintenance come out quickly to fix things. Rachel, Lee, and Lauren are great! Would recommend Benchmark Kc to friends and family.

Ive been with benchmark for a few months and they have been real decent, they attend to my service issues fast and fair the only reason I did not give 5 stars is that they only take cash and not credit card or check. But other then that its an ok place to live

I have a lot to say about my experience with Benchmark. i have reads the various negative reviews provided, and I must say the people they describe in the reviews, I have never seen before. Lee has always been very respectful and a great help on every issue I submitted. Nick was a great leasing agent for me. I love Rachael, so the people that is described in these negative reviews against the company, i am not familiar with. I have been a tenant for almost two years and every maintenance request is taken care of withing 24 to 48 hours after I had submitted it. I had almost one bad experience with Benchmark and by the time I arrived at the office the issue was rectified and I left satisfied that my issue was handled and handled very professionally on Benchmark side. I give you guys a 5.

Other than the fact this place gave me a decent roof over my head, I am not impressed with their upkeep on my home. I've asked numerous times to have repairs done to my house and they have done nothing. Tired of the threatening nature of any type of correspondence they send to me or have left on my door. They talk disrespectfully to you over the phone and I have heard they will completely nit pick your house when you do decide to move, normally resulting in the tenant owing them $. unfortunately I have referred 2 people to Benchmark and they have both had the same experience we have had.

My family and I are completely satisfied with Benchmark overall. They made the rental process very easy, with consideration of our time. They also care about the up keep of their properties which says a lot about the company. So happy family here......

My family and I have just recently renewed our lease into our second year with this company. Overall, I'm satisfied with the property and the service. Everyone is easy to get along with on a good day and work order requests that are important, get prompt attention. They have a great orientation process that made us aware of how much they value the appearance of their property and how much goes into maintaining a house and keeping it in good order.

I have had several issues with the home since we've been here. There are certain things I've requested and they agreed to that still aren't done! At this point I'm tired of asking! I was told the house was going to look a certain way...we signed the lease and then when we for here it wasn't what they said. The rent that we pay for this home is SOOO overpriced!!!! Definitely not worth the money! This is our second year and I definitely don't believe we will be hear a third! Some of the people are so rude and definitely let you know that you are replaceable as a tenant (which doesn't make you feel good) The ONLY thing that keeps us here is that we are next door to my mother-in-law and I couldn't find something before our lease needed to be renewed. Overall disappointed...

Have lived in 1 of there properties for over a year and have enjoyed every moment. There staff and maintence crew have given us excellent service and really like calling are place home..

We are new to Benchmark. We needed to find a place quickly and after every thing we looked at , we fell in love with one of their properties. They did everything in their power to have it ready for us a little earlier then they anticipated because they knew we were on a deadline to be out of our other home.



The put a gate up for us within the first week because they knew we had dogs and thought it would be better for our family with a completely fenced backyard. They were prompt and delivered what they promised even ahead of time. So far so good with them :)



The staff has been wonderful with every interaction we have had. Will post more on how things are going, but wanted to give my two cents so far.

**WARNING**

These guys are the worst people I have ever rented from. They will get you in contract and then bleed you dry. I didn't give them a 60 day notice before my lease was up and they automatically renewed it. Now that I want to move out, they are suing me for $3000!

If thats not enough, they come by and do quartly inspections. If things aren't perfect, they threaten to evict and sue you.

I could go on and on but in the end I have one simple point. DO NOT RENT FROM BENCHMARK

Don't have one nice thing to say about this shady company. They are all rude to you once they grabbed that money. JR is an old rude drunk, lee is even worst. He thinks he's the top dog of the company. He would cusses at you if you don't agrees with him. Doesn't matter if you pays your rent on time but if you dont cut your grass then they will send you a letter threatens to have you evicted. Hmm, let's see what...won't fix anything That's wrong w the house. Oh, I definitely can't leave this part out, they are already threatens to take all of my 1500 deposit once I move out! But don't worry, I'm going to take pictures of the house and will take their asses to court!

So far smooth sailing, I'm into my second month and things are fine, first work order was completed and prompt.

I tried calling and emailing this business several times about some houses I was interested in getting more information on and perhaps renting. But since they have neglected to return my calls(I left voicemail with my contact number) and haven't responded to any of my emails, I have given up and will not be looking at anymore properties listed by Benchmark. They are very unprofessional and after reading the negative reviews, which they deserve, I know I'm making the right decision in not renting from them.

We are very happy to have found a home for our family that is the size we need in the area we wanted. Nick always answered by phone or text when we had a question. Happy customer.

I am new to Benchmark Properties LLC so far everything has been smooth sailing from here. I contacted Rachel with BenchMark she met me was very understanding to my schedule. She showed me several houses before I made my desecion. I am very pleased with the house I have chose its perfect for me and the kids. I love the neighbors they have made me feel warm, and plus I needed something taken care of the first day called the owner and they came out with in 30 minutes. Very impressed I have since then referred two of my friends to rent from BenchMark and they are already looking. Just thought others would want to know, how I was pleased and very happy.
