Benchmark has been instrumental in my family securing a home that met our needs and that was within our budget. From the leasing agents that were friendly and knowledgable of the properties, to the concern and care that the front office took to assure us through the application process. I was extremely surprised and elated over the professoinalism and openess. My family and I have been totally satisfied-even with the maintenance crew. they are timely and always check to ensure we are satified with their work. Thanks to Travis and his team. So far so good our rental with benchmark has been enjoyable. Rachel is who we deal with and she is so kind and helped us out a lot. Our move was last minute and she really took an extra step in getting us into a really nice place. Here are some things I can say from my experience with benchmark. Unlike most and other rental companies the houses at benchmark are updated and remodeled I will say about 80% of the properties. Properties that are not from what I've seen they will get them fixed up for u in time for ur move in. So the ups are really nice homes they even work with you if ur credit isn't that greAt when most place will just turn u away. The only problem I have is that one time I had a maintenance issue and the maintenance person came to fix the issue but after doing so walked threw the house which I knw cause bedroom doors were open that I left closed and he wrote up a report saying the stove and fridge wasn't clean" not cool! There needs to be some kind of respect of privacy in these matters. I'm a very very clean person but even the most cleanliness ppl may have a few things out of place sometimes ex specially with 3kids. They do inspections on the property every 3-4 months I think which I feel is to much. But I totally understand coming out one time to check things out because the owner really does put a lot of money into the properties from what I see! So would I rent from them again? From my experience absolutely" will I recommend u rent from benchmark? Absolutely. My stay has been enjoyable and Rachel is so awesome! So like I said in the beginning, "so far so good"

Benchmark is absolutely a 5 star company. This company goes the extra mile to satisfy their tenants. The customer service they provide is amazing! They respond very quickly to work orders the tenants submit. They rehab their homes with quality products and not the contractor grade products most companies use. If you are looking to rent a home in KC, you must contact this company. I will only rent with Benchmark.

I have not had any issue with Benchmark. Anything that was needing to be corrected was taken care of in a timely manner. I like the property I'm at and hope to be here many years.

I would NEVER EVER rent from benchmark ever again. Everything was fine until we left. Didn't get back hardly any of our deposit and the claims they made were false (ie: fixing holes in the walls) We never hung up one picture. There were claims stating the yard wasn't cleaned up...it was covered in snow! Upon move-in, it took us a whole weekend to clean up the debris from the previous owner. They didn't care about that. When we left that house it was cleaner than when we moved in. I emailed everybody including the owner and he didn't even respond. We received an excellent report on the condition of the house every quarter yet when it was time to give us back our deposit they ripped us off. The only person that seemed concerned with our issue was Lauren. She was very nice and sympathetic to our situation.

I was new to the area about a year ago and had to find a house fast. Benchmark got us moved in within 2 weeks. Emails and calls are answered and resolved quickly. Overall, our experience with Benchmark has been a good one. They certainly made the move to a new city a lot easier. I am now buying a home, so we'll see how the move out process goes.

The property was advertised with a fenced yard but in our initial walk through it looked as though a storm may have blown down one side of the fence. We have dogs so the fence was important. They promised to fix it by the time we moved in. We were expecting a chain link fence but when we pulled

up to the property in the moving truck we were pleasantly surprised that a wood fence had been out up.

So far so good. We have rented from Benhmark for about 8mo. now and have not had any problems. We are very pleased with the property and any problems we have had they fix in a timley manner. I don't mind the quarterly visits because I know that we keep the house very nice and have never had a bad review. I understand why they do it to make sure their investmet is not trashed, which I would think any landlord would want. I have read the negative reviews and can't agree with any of them because we have had no issues with Benchmark. I would definitley recommend them for someone looking for a rental.

We've been very impressed with Benchmark. They are easy to work with, friendly, and very professional. The office and maintenance staff are courteous. I've read the review that complained about the quarterly visits and I think they are great. They give you the opportunity to touch base as well as it signals to me how well they treat their homes. I know I'm not getting a house no one cares about and is letting fall apart. Instead, I have a home recently upgraded with attractive paint colors and appliances and a landlord that cares for my home.

My title basically says it all...we've had nothing but problems with this company...they come quarterly to check up on u and if ur house isn't spotless they'll write u up like ur a child...the only reason they have so many stars is because they are giving 30 dollars off rent if u give them 5 stars....DON'T FALL FOR IT...THEY SUCK!! WORST SLUMLORDS EVER!!

The new siding, paint and trim look great! All the neighbors were impressed with the way the crew worked quickly, professionally and cleaned up every evening before leaving. While doing new siding the crew also replaced yard fence and improved the landscaping! Improvements added value to our home.

My leasing agent was very helpful and nice. Was moving in a hurry and they worked with me to get my apartment ready quickly!

My leasing agent was very helpful and the office staff and maintenance crew are always very courteous. We recently had a maintenance issue that was addressed personally by the owner, he made sure the issue was taken care of. I'm in my second year renting from Benchmark and overall I'm pleased.

Would recommend Benchmark to anyone

Benchmark KC is an excellent place to rent from. They are extremely friendly, professional, and very helpful. Their maintenance service is expeditious and they actually fix the problem--not just band-aid it! You can tell they take pride in their homes. Their homes are nice as well; but I just can't say enough about the staff! Courteous at every turn and always ready to help. If you are planning on living in the south KC area, I highly recommend that you check with Benchmark KC first!

Benchmark has been a great company to rent from. They get to maintenance issues quickly and have always been helpful with any other issues.

I have lived in my Duplex going on 3 years and can say nothing but good things about Benchmark and staff. Any issues that have come up have been handled immediately or by the next day. This is exceptional considering they have several other properties which they tend to. Priced very reasonable for the over-priced lees summit area, and my kids get to attend a great school district. Needless to say I'm very happy tenant!!

Right from the start Benchmark has been amazing. I would recommend them to anyone. They are great property owners and the maintenance staff and office personnel are very proficient and professional. I have nothing bad to say about them. The property I am renting is in a great neighborhood and the Realtor that showed me properties showed only what I was interested in. 2 Thumbs up
