My experience was spectacular. I walked up and since I reserved under Emerald, I was able to shop and get into the best car for me from the aisles for Emerald. When I was leaving, I stopped by the counter to ask a question about a specific car i was looking for and they didn't have it but the attendant informed me that he had just got in some BRAND NEW Chevy Impalas. So I of course said yes I'll take one and when I got in the car, it had 4 MILES on it. Brand new, literally from the manufacturer, a 2016 model. I was more than happy and excited for my trip from then on. Needless to say, my experience was stellar!

Great service at DEN Airport. We needed a larger vehicle as we had many bags and we were picking up more travelers. The attendant was very good about finding a vehicle that met our expectations. The vehicle was awesome and we were really happy once again. Thank you National!

I have to admit, I was expecting a long wait for the shuttle over to their rental lot, especially since the line for the shuttle was really long. But no! One shuttle after another kept pulling up and taking us over to their lot! Super easy! And the return was even easier! From the time I dropped off my rental and got to my gate it was like 35 minutes! Will definitely rent from National from now on!

Landed in DEN shuddle was outside waiting. quick ride over to the lot. Was directed to go over and pick any car in the first four rows. jumped in and exited at the drive up check out with car line. Really was that easy! Dropping off the car was easier. People waiting for you, all you do is stop grap your bags and get on the waiting shuddle. Along the was you'll get TY and have a great day, thanks for your bussiness! Very pleased, can't wait, to use them again.

I flew into Denver for a short vacation. Usually I use National Car Rental for work, but this trip was for pleasure and they had a very competitive rate. The customer service was top noitch, especially a young man named Francis, who was assisting people with car selection and loading. Fantastic help from him in particular. Great overall experience.

I travel about 4-5 times a month for work, and if given the option will always use National. I'm a Emerald Club member and love the flexibility of picking my car, and the no hassle return policy! If you travel and you are not using National you are missing out!

My rental broke down after day one of the 15 day trip. Roadside assistance could not provide me a replacement the same day and had to take a taxi back to my hotel. Was very upset with this experience. Got a replacement the next day after long waits with support and the replacement personall. However when i reached Denver car rental location, i discussed the issues with them. They waived off half my car rental charge for the downtime. This gesture was good enough to recover the bad experience i had earlier and showed how much they valued their customers. The agent i spoke to was friendly and helpful. He helped turn around my experience with National and i will keep on renting from them.

When picking up the car the Denver agent was extremely difficult to deal with. Had a problem with my license, I corrected the issue but counter agent was condescending, rude with little, if any customer service skills. He handled the situation so poorly I demanded a manager. When the manager arrive the agent immediately changed his demeanor, the manager (using his commonsense) handled the situation well. Once the manager left the agent returned to his obnoxious attitude. Very poor front-line customer service. Car was great but the service at the Denver check-in counter was extremely poor. Back to Avis!!

As someone who rents 100+ days a year, the only thing I've found consistent with National is how INCONSISTENT your experience will be. I've driven the gamut of their fleet, but never been able to score the same (kind) vehicle twice from the same location. I used to love using the denver location, since their "Executive selection" was so big. Used to be able to hop off the shuttle and pick from a variety of nicer/well optioned vehicles including full size trucks, SUV's and nicer cars. Over the last 2 years I've watched that degrade into aisle after aisle of base model Nissans and Hyundais. If you do see an "suv" its likely a tiny 4 cyl car-based crossover. Then they dangle these base model BMW and Volvo vehicles over by the counter as "Reserve Selection" that cost a ridiculous amount more per day, even though some of these vehicles are arguably less expensive then some of the trucks and SUV's they rent.

But its now more then that. You leave something in the vehicle or get need to call the location to ask a location specific question, and your call gets routed to india. Now they plan on charging for Satellite Radio. The whole thing is just sad, like watching a house burn. You can really see the influence bleeding over from Enterprise. I used to look forward to using my free days on trips but now I just book with Avis or Hertz, even though it costs me more.
