I came in with terrible daily headaches and jaw pain that just seemed to be getting worse to where I was waking up every morning and my jaw was hurting. I was uncomfortable almost all the time. Thanks to the splint my headaches are rare and my jaw no longer hurts at all.

For more than 20 years I have dealt with a variety of symptoms that in my thinking, were unrelated: headache on left side, ear fullness as if it were full of fluid, dizziness, jaw pain, shoulder pain, etc. After multiple doctor visits and ENT specialists I was diagnosed with TMJ but really offered no relief other than a mouthpiece to wear at night because of my severe teeth grinding. I have had jaw problems for years. Popping, trouble eating, biting into something, swallowing. One day I yawned and there was a pop in my jaw and a great deal of pain. I couldn't eat or even swallow liquids without severe pain. My G.P sent me to Dr U and he fit me with the splint. I was skeptical at first. This device is great. It works. One day I yawned and I felt my jaw pop out of place. I dealt with the pain of my jaw for about 3 months before I went to regular physician to find out what happened. The pain was so bad that I went to a soft diet. I would have tears when I ate or tried to yawn again. My physician sent me to have xrays and told me that I had TMJ. She then sent me to see Dr. Urbanek. He told me to relieve my pain I would need TMJ surgery. After my surgery my pain is gone. I am back to a normal diet and I can yawn without tears.

I have been treated for migraine headaches for 30 years by neurologist and internal medicine physicians. I believe the care I received from those physicians was appropriate based on the diagnosis of migraine headaches. However, when I developed TMJ dysfunction, my dentist referred me to Dr. Urbanek. I wore braces for a while which helped temporarily. The main symptom I had was the tightness in my facial muscles which I thought I could control by taking muscle relaxers. Dr, Urbanek took the time to explain to me what was happening to cause my jaw pain and told me that I would feel a huge difference within a few weeks. The popping in my jaw has almost completely stopped and the pain is almost non-existent. The TMJ splint is definitely worth every penny I spent.

Wow! What an amazing device that Dr. Urbanek has created! I went from having several headaches, jaw pain, next pain, teeth & mouth pain to very minimal to no pain after wearing this device for 10 weeks! My jaw no longer pops when i talk or eat. I can eat without jaw pain! It is truly amazing what such a device can do in 10 weeks! I highly recommend Dr. Urbanek to any and everyone! My jaw pain is gone.

Was having clicking in jaw and lots of pain when jaw would lock. Had difficulty eating due to jaw pain. Googled jaw pain and Dr. Urbanek's website came up. Listened to tutorials about TMJ. Sent e-mail. Got called the next day and got appointment for TMJ splint. After 3 weeks pain was less after 9 weeks pain was gone.

I was referred by my dentist for TMJ pain. I can tell a significant difference when using the device. No more painful, loud "clicks" or locking of the jaw. Headaches and other symptoms have also significantly decreased.

I was experiencing headaches, stiff neck and very tense shoulders for more than 20 years. The first night that I wore the splint my neck and shoulder pain went away the next day. Thank you Dr. Urbanek for my pain relief.

In the beginnning of this process i was very scared and nervous with the stuff that was getting ready to take place. The appointments before surgery was very informational and weren't bad at all. After all the appointments and steps to getting prepared for surgery. We then talked about the day of surgery and what all to expect after surgery and everything and i was nervous and scared about all of it but i knew they were gonna take great care of me. The day of surgery i was very very nervous not really scared but, i have to say i was a little scared but not much. After the surgery i was in a lot of pain which is gonna happen but, my medicine helped a lot. I bleed a lot it was scary but i was fine they took great care of me. The first night after the surgery i just slept and drunk some soup broth and it was pretty good and i drunk a milkshake also i think the hardest thing about having the surgery is not being able to eat real food for 3-6 weeks but it was 6 weeks for me . I have to say it was all worth it in the end and it really isn't bad as people make it out to seem like. I wouldn't go back and change my mind for anything because it was a amazing experience and im glad of how the outcome came to be. It was scary yes, and not being able to eat for 6 weeks sucked but, hey they made my mouth look amazing and i couldn't have asked for anyone better to have fixed it then Dr.Urbanek and his nurses.

I had developed many symptoms and was in a lot of pain and could barely open my mouth. It .only a few short months most of my symptoms had improved. No pain and could open my mouth. I hope to continue to improve.

I've had jaw issues since I was very young. My parents didn't really know what caused it and it never caused pain so I just lived with it for a while.
