Today I went to Nagel's for the first time. I was amazed with all the products. I was greeted inside the door by a female and a male who were working the knife section. They were very pleasant and helpful. I then proceeded to the next section where I found almost immediately what I was looking for. This Heckler & Koch gun that I was looking for is pretty hard to find. I was then waited on by a very courteous and professional salesman named Gilbert. He figured up my out the door price and I then purchased the pistol. Gilbert also directed me to the target ammunition for said gun. On my way out I looked at Heckler & Koch (H&K) Benchmark knives. That purchase will be on my next visit. Over all this was a great first time experience at Nagel's. Thanks guys, keep up the good work.

It's been a few years since I've been to NAGEL'S but I went there in response to an S&W AR-15 for sale. After reading some of the negative reports on the internet, I was half expecting some BS shell game and a story about how they had just sold the last one and don't know when they will get more in.

To my surprise, they had what I went there for and the price was as advertised - $180.00 less than the two stores I checked on the way there. The service was very good and while waiting, I overheard some other sales people giving what I thought was some very good and accurate information to other customers. I also bought some ammunition and after checking the price at a couple of other places later on, I should have bought more when I was there. Some of the prices I saw for other types of ammunition were higher than I typically pay but the American Eagle 5.56 was a bargain at $7.99/box of 20. I'll be back. Great selection and knowledgeable staff.

Gilbert came around the corner and asked if he could help. I was looking for a specific gun and he kindly went in the back to find it and another one like it. I ended up making a purchase b/c of his great service. Thanks Nagel's.

To be around as long as they have, you'd think they get this by now. Let me say, I am a return customer and today's experience is reflective of most of my interactions with this team (not all). I am going to say I should have expected this. I will keep this brief. Nagel's made me a trade offer a few months back for a premium Kimber I purchased from them. Today, they cut that offer in half and the rationale behind seemed arbitrary at best (..."our offers are good at the time made, and today we offer you half"). Really? Even when I offered to show them their quote, they refused. 5 employees just standing around, while I waited to hear back on their GM on the offer Mark made me and not a single one approached me to offer customer service. They seemed to either lack motivation or their customer engagement training needs reinventing. Take my advice, go to Dury's, pay a little more, get the lifetime warranty, and work with folks that care about the customer all day long.

The staff were very nice and helpful, even after I purchased my gun there. They have a large selection of guns, etc. Prices are the best I've found.

I walked in to the shop and not only do they have guns but also a wide assortment of knives. Anyways, as I wondered in, I was greeted by friendly folks who helped me right away. I had the pleasure of buying a Wilson 1911 from Nagel's. Staff was great. They were easy to work with, very responsive, and knowledgeable. Overall, it was a smooth transaction with good people. Couldn't be happier with my experience.

The best Gun Store ever. The Nagel's are great people and feel Fortunate for their shop to be convenient for me. . Also have a great collection of knives. I have bought many guns there over the years and had a few repaired there also. You cannot not ask for better service or value for your dollar

I had previously shopped at Nagel's because they have the best selection in town, but I did not have a good experience previously due to the grudging, and almost non-existent, customer service. However, my experience yesterday with "Fast" Eddie changed my opinion of the place. Eddie was helpful, polite, gave his opinion when I asked for it, and didn't give me any of the misogynist nonsense women sometimes get in gun stores. I retracted my previous review of the store, and am glad to post this new one. Thanks Eddie!
