Overall

My dog had an appointment to be groomed by this horrendous place 10/17/15 at 12:30, I received a call at 11:24 am informing we could come early so I got there about 11:40ish and after talking to the two female employees I left. I was literally gone for 10-15 minutes before I received another phone call from Sasha at 12:13 informing me that my dog had been "nicked" and she "may' need to go to the vet, I asked was she okay she replied yes. I immediately got in my car and went to check on her when I arrived she looked scared to death and as I looked at this so called "nick" I saw the blood and a GASH and my dogs BONE exposed. The only thing the staff asked me was "do you want me to continue", not sure who in their right mind would even think to ask that let alone actually do so beats me but NO I did NOT allow these people to finish also being Saturday our vets in our area close half a day usually so I pressed for time. My dogs usual vet was closed as well as Lake Country so I had less than 30 minutes before Roanoke Animal Hospital closed and thankfully/luckily they saw us although they have never seen her before. My dog ended up requiring to be put to sleep, getting stitches and glue over top of that due to the injuries these negligent unprofessional people caused. They not once called me, I had to CONTACT THEM once I got home around 1:30ish and when I immediately asked for a manager I was advised one was not there but they could help me so I explained what happened, I was then transferred to grooming department which anyone that just experienced this would of felt the exact same way that I did and that was that I did not want to speak to these people who didn't know the difference between a nick and her bone exposed. As I again asked why I was transferred to them and wanted to speak with a manager I had to re-explain or try but as I was trying to do so this employee did nothing but interrupt me, talk over me and wouldn't let me express my concerns and only infuriated me more as she constantly repeated and downplayed what they did to my dog, and continued to use the word NICKED. As I tried to explain but was again talked over and cut off that this was not a NICK, there is a huge difference she explained that 'if I would have stayed long enough to go over and complete an incident form" I was not told about this when I arrived or when she initially called me to tell me they "nicked" my dog, the only thing they mentioned when I arrived was did they want me to continue grooming her. & I wasn't aware I should be up to date and know the facilities policies and procedures ... then she proceeds to tell me that if I would of read the form I signed about matting, let me explain my dog is 9 years old and a teacup maltese when I arrived to this place she that was now on the phone telling me what to do and blame me for their negligence and injuries to my dog stated she was not matted all over and had a few places and it was NOT to the skin. I have NEVER had an issue with this EVER and never went through this nightmare. She states it explains they may get nicked, again Nicked.... Let me explain to you again HER BONE WAS EXPOSED AND SHE WAS BLEEDING. SHE REQUIRED SEDATION AND STITCHES AND GLUE! then as I try to explain to this arrogant witch that I have never had this issue before and they can't try to blame her being matted and all she was doing was trying to cover her tail she proceeds to tell me that "i should be taking better care of my baby" so then I proceed to tell her my choice of words and hang up on her. Not once were they going to send an incident report off or call me to check on my dog, I had to call them. The fact that they did this and rushed is ridiculous as well as how this employer spoke to me. The female cutting my dog I found out AFTER was in training, do you think they mentioned this to me? NO they didn't not once and not.
