My husband and I adore this daycare! The teachers are wonderful, the atmosphere is great and the facility is spotless. We also love the extras, like the monthly free Parent's Night out and the Kona Ice and Water play during the summer. Shepherd’s Promise is the best daycare around! We have been using them for over a year now and our son loves it. The interaction with the teachers, staff, as well as the other kids has really made a positive social impact. He is an only child (for a few more days) and his social skills are very good. The staff is great at keeping us informed of his daily activities as well as any events upcoming within the center.



The extracurricular activities are great too. They have Parent's Night Out every other month and water play during the summer. The fall festival/carnival was also nice last October.



We love this place and are glad to have found it. We will be using it for our second child soon. Please add this center to your place to visit.

The staff is courteous and professional and the facility is well designed to meet the needs of learners of all ages. I have noticed the small class sizes and the amount of individual attention each child receives. The student makeup is very diverse which is great! I really enjoy sending my son to SP due to the fact that I know he will be happy, safe, and engaged. Each day when I pick him up, I am given a detailed report that outlines the activities of the day. I truly appreciate the open lines of communication that are in place. My two year old knows most of the alphabet and can count to twenty. I give SP the credit for this! They make learning fun and meaningful. I am so glad that we were able to find a place like SP due to the fact that we moved to the area not knowing anyone or anything about the area daycare options. Overall, I cannot say enough about the positive experience my son has had at SP. I would highly recommend the school.

Our son has been at Shepherds Promise for 2.5 years and will be starting kindergarten in the fall. Although the center has gone through a rough patch with changes in leadership, the current staff has done a good job with getting things back on track. Overall, I am pleased and would recommend Shepherds Promise to others.

It's a family centered day care. My daughter loves going there every day. She gets out of the car running every morning. She can't wait to see her friends and her teachers. We get stop at just about every classroom door on the way in and out in the evenings so she can get a hug from all of her old teachers. She's been there since she was 7 wks old and this May she'll graduate and start big school. It's going to be hard for mommy but I know she's been prepared and is ready.

Shepherd's Promise is a great daycare facility. SP follows its outlined rules and policies to the letter. My infant comes home with a detailed daily report sheet that shows feelings, nap times and diaper changes. We are happy here!

Our child has learned more at Shepherd’s Promise than we could have ever imagined! We have been so impressed with how dedicated the teachers and staff are at teaching the children. My son is excited to go to school every day and I know how much love he is shown on a daily basis. You can feel the love and happiness upon walking in the doors! We love Shepherd's Promise!! Our daughter has been there for two years and has been in three classes with each one exceeding the next. She loves her teachers and can not wait to play with all her friends each day. There are some days that it's hard to get her to leave she's having so much fun. The teachers are very caring and actually teach the kids. Everyone is so professional and if any concerns should arise they are taken care of at once. We think so much of this school that even when we moved from Pelham to Hwy 280 that we did not want to take her out, instead we drive the extra 30 or more minutes out of the way.

My daughter has been attending Shepherd's Promise since September 2010. Neither of my children have ever had to go to daycare and I was very anxious about sending her to daycare. I researched and visited many different places and Shepherd's Promise was the best by far! Their price is comparable to other daycares, their hours are the most flexible and their facilities are the cleanest. My daughter (and I) very much like with her teachers and we could not imagine being anywhere else! An added bonus is their willingness to keep siblings during the days that they are out of school. They also have Parent's Night Out (for FREE) and they also allow siblings too!

As a teacher, I understand the importance of fostering children during the early developmental stages. Selecting the appropriate daycare was very important to me. My experience at Shepherd's Promise has been outstanding! My daughter has learned alot during her two years there. It is important to me that the caregivers and I are on the same page when it comes to learning because my daughter spends the bulk of her day with them while I'm at work. I am at peace knowing that she is loved, nurtered and happy whenever I drop her off everyday and that she's learning in the process.

Two years ago I was very disappointed with my current day-care facility. It had been highly recommend and just was not what it had be made to be. I can not express how happy I have been since we switched to Shepherd's Promise. You can see the change in my kids personality. They are excited to go school everyday and learn. I know that they love their teachers when we have to go back to give them a hug before we leave at the end of the day even though we are going to see them again tomorrow. Shepherd's Promise goes so far above what you expect from a day-care. The facility is clean and organized, The staff is clean and well dressed ( don't laugh that is a problem we ran into). When I went back to work after having my two children, I researched all the daycare's around town. Shepherd's Promise was by far the best facility for my kids. It is not only affordable, but safe and offers a great learning environment. The staff is just wonderful, they are so friendly and concerned about each child and parent. My kids have attended for almost two years now and I amazed at the things they have learned. Everyday each one has a new song, word, color, shape or idea to share with me. They love going to "school"! I would recommend this daycare to anyone.

I sometimes pick up my grandchildren from Shepherd's Promise. When I do, I can sense the teachers have a personable relationship with each child as I chat with the staff. My daughter always speaks about what is going on at school, what the kids are learning and making, and any events of the day, what a great place. My oldest grandchild (3) often tells us fun things he does is in school. The children have a lot of fun! I can tell this is a wonderful center for children to attend. I would recommend to anyone!

#10. Shepherd’s Promise feels like a community. They plan activities outside the regular day, for example: a “Field Day” on a Saturday last summer, a “Sweethearts Dance” in February, “Date Nights” for parents, etc.

#3. Teaching and learning is a part of the day, no matter the age. When my child was an infant they taught the babies simple sign language to communicate their needs. Before my son was three years old he could identify most all shapes correctly. Recently I told the teacher I had been working with him on colors but he was having trouble learning them. Without me asking, she made a point to adapt her lesson plans to work on colors more. As a center they regularly assess the children and themselves so they can constantly work on improving what they do. This makes them excellent!

We LOVE Shepherd's Promise. Our daughter has been going here for about 7 months now and loves it. She LOVES her teachers. From the very first call to set up for a tour, Shepherd’s Promise was impressive. Many of the daycares that we visited needed a few days to “prepare” for the visit; this wasn’t the case for Shepherd’s Promise - we were told to just “stop by any time”. We were so impressed by this because it told us that the staff at Shepherd’s Promise was always prepared for visitors; they didn’t feel that they needed to prepare in order to “impress” us or “win us over”. They allow the everyday goings-on of their center to impress their visitors, and impress they certainly did. We loved the bright, friendly, up-beat attitude of the staff, the fact that they actually got down on the floor to play with the children (you would be surprised how often we did not see that at other locations), the cleanliness of the facility, and the preparedness for anything.
