The decision to send your children to daycare is one that should not be taken lightly. There are many factors to quantify when taking this enormous leap. My wife and I are extremely pleased with our decision to choose School for Amazing Kids, Pelham over five years ago. With two boys under the age of six an two working parents, the services provided by SFAK are a must for us. We appreciate the structured, faith-based environment provided by this school. The breakfasts and lunches are cooked on-site and both of our boys enjoy them. With one son now in kindergarten, we were able to see the impact the curriculum and structure had on his overall development. We appreciate the kind, caring, and supportive staff and directors. The school provides a great value and a safe, nurturing environment. There is a difference between a preschool and a daycare, and SFAK understands the importance building a strong foundation for a student's education. Overall, we would recommend this school to any parent in the Pelham area.

This place is amazing. I toured several daycares before deciding on this one and I couldn't be happier. To me, this was the most affordable, most structured, and cleanest facility. I love the fact that only the staff has the code to get in to the actual school. It makes me confident that I'm leaving my child in a safe environment and that is a great piece of mind.

As far as the teachers go, that are just great. My son has learned so much and I owe it to them. They teach a great curriculum and work closely with each child to make sure they excel. I am just so happy to be a part of such a great institution.

There are so many reasons why we keep our daughter at Amazing Kids Pelham. The staff is so knowledgeable in the standard day to day care of each child they have. Both of the directors are so attentive to every child. That in itself seems a task as they have so many children to take care of each day.

We have been with the school for 3 years. We love it so much that we are now waiting on the arrival of our son in February have cannot wait for him to start. It is such a great feeling to come to pick up our daughter and everyone is also eager to know how the new "Baby Martin" is coming along. Knowing that our son will receive the same incredible care that our daughter has is comforting.
The thought of someone else caring for your child is nauseating enough in the first place. The staff here has gone above and beyond to make any worries i had/have vanish.

3 words....Parents Night Out. We already fell in love with Drew LaToya and the rest of the teachers and the family like atmosphere they have there but when we showed up to see those words, it was over the top. Every month or so, the teachers stay extra on a Friday night until 11 so we parents can have a "date" night. It may seem like a small thing but its such a blessing!
We love how they incorporate biblical foundations into regular teaching. My girls come home each day excited and having learned something new. We love the kids to teacher ratio and more importantly, we love how the teachers really really really care for our girls. Again, its like we are family. We highly reccomment this place to parents looking for a good solution for their kids!

We have been at School for Amazing Kids Pelham for the past 3 years and we have both of our kids enrolled. I love the administration and teachers at the school. They really treat each child as if they were their own children.

The curriculum is amazing. Every day after I pick my daughter up from school I am amazed at what new thing she has learned. They are not only teaching our children to prepare and them for elementary school but they are also teaching them prayers and biblical stories which I believe is just as important if not as more as teaching them school curriculum.

The entire staff is very warm and helpful. They always wish me a safe and good day when leaving the school. Things as simple as each teacher knowing my child’s name even if she is not in their class really goes along way. I can see they are a real team and I really appreciate their hard work and dedication in caring for the most important people in my life.

My 4 year old twins have been at Shepherd's Promise for 2 years now. I can't think of one thing that was negative at this school. The staff is great and my kids love them and are loved by them. It is amazing at the things they have already learned at 3. We love all the extras that are a part of this daycare as well. They have a parents night out once a month. We love that we get to go on a date without having to pay a babysitter. They have classes like ballet as well as programs for music and sports. They have fun things like a Sweetheart Banquet, PJ day, water day, fall festivals and the Kona ice truck in the summer. The learning that happens there is amazing. At 3 years old my twins knew which was right and left, how to spell several colors and their name. They were able to write letters and much more. Wouldn't change anything about or experience at this daycare.

As with most parents you want a place that is clean, safe and one that has a good curriculum that will provide your child with the tools needed and to have a great foundation preparing them for school. I also wanted a loving environment and I found that here. My daughter is has been going here since she was 6 weeks and is now almost 2 years old. Each teacher she has had has been wonderful with her and she loves them. For example when I picked her up today she passed 4 teachers and ran to each one for a hug on her way out and that's more important to me than anything. I can teach her at home but I want her to feel loved and cared for when I leave each morning and she knows she is in good hands.

Our grandchildren have attended Shepherd’s Promise since they were 4 month sold and we couldn’t be happier. They have received only the best care and education possible. The daycare hours are perfect, staying open until 6:30 pm is a huge help. Most local daycares only stay open until 6pm. Parents night out is offered often at no additional charge as well. We feel like Shepherds promise goes above and beyond to ensure that our grandchildren are safe and happy.

I'm actually dreading my son, Michael, leaving Shepherd's Promise in August for kindergarten. I don't think anything can top our experience we've had at SP. Michael was really shy and didn't know how to behave around other kids before he started Shepherd's Promise. He has blossomed in the 3 years he has been there. He is a kind, sharing, and compassionate kid and has made a ton of friends. I love getting to see him play with his friends in class. SP is to thank for that. The teachers in his 2 year old class nurtured him and his classmates and taught them how to behave and play with kindness. And that carried over to 3k and 4k and now they are preparing him for kindergarten. I have no doubt he will do amazing and be 100% prepared for kindergarten! He has learned so much in class and the curriculum is outstanding. Michael loves his homework and is eager to do it. And another important thing SP did for us is help us potty train Michael. I don't think we would have been able to do it on our own! They helped us so much! They have been with us through so many big milestones Michael has had. And when we've struggled they have been there for us. We lost our jobs a year ago and since then they have been patient with us and worked with us when money has been tight. That means more to us than anything an we will always remember their kindness. I trust SP 100% with my child and don't think there is a better daycare out there.

My son is not quite a year old and my wife and I were hesitant to take him to ANY child care facility. So we did our research and decided to check out a few facilities in person. After visiting a handful of places, we arrived at Shepherd's Promise and decided that is where we wanted to be. The rooms are kept very clean. They have a secure, safe environment that allows for peace of mind for a parent. Most importantly, the staff is awesome. They seem to genuinely enjoy working with the kids but they are very professional and take their jobs very seriously. Any doubts or uncomfortable feelings that my wife and I had before choosing a daycare were completely erased after our son started attending Shepherd's Promise. It was one of the best decisions we've ever made.

I have not seen a bad review on here, regarding Shepherd's Promise, and you can see why. They really are great. I have a 4 year old daughter, who is in Ms. Lecie's class (4K) and she adores her. We are greeted every morning by name, and Ms. Debra always has a great breakfast cooked for them as we walk in. Abbie loves going to school. We came from a church related daycare and I was very excited to know Shepherd's Promise also instilled the love of Jesus in the children, as well! I would recommend this child care to anyone!

My child has been at Shepherd’s Promise for three years. And he loves it! He doesn’t want to miss a day of pre-K, and that makes it so much easier for me as a parent. When I was first looking for a daycare, my most important concern was safety. I needed to feel at ease. Shepherd’s Promise has relieved every worry. I know they not only take care of the children and love them and teach them to be kind and considerate, but they also make learning fun for the kids with games and songs. They never get bored. They do lots of extra activities, doing so much for kids and parents, like Santa visits, water play in the summer, parents night out, school pictures twice a year, and so much more.

And I feel completely confident that my child will be more than ready for kindergarten because they teach them to follow directions and constantly evaluate their learning progress. He learned “how to share” very early and he’s already mastered how to write his first and last name, among so many other things. It amazes me each day when he says, today we talked about the letter such and such and goes on and on. He loves learning thanks to Shepherd’s Promise. The teachers and directors are amazing, friendly and helpful and always available with any concerns.

Our daughter is currently in 4k at Shepherd's Promise and she loves it! She has attended there for 2 years . We knew from the moment that we walked in that this was the place for us. Our daughter even said, "That's where I want to go!" as were leaving the parking lot after our first visit.

The teachers and staff are always loving and genuinely care toward the child. It is evident that they love their jobs and want the best for each individual child. My daughter is sad because she is starting kindergarten next month and has to leave. I highly recommend Shepherd's Promise for those that are looking for a structured yet loving and family-like atmosphere.

This was going to be my daughter's 3rd daycare and having had two horrible experiences i was very hard on them at first. The staff and directors alike eased my mind, the directors are very hands on. Every time i call they have answers to my many questions. The teachers are very nice and friendly they encourage parents to volunteer and they treat each child special and build confidence and self esteem.

If your looking for a memory making and fun childcare for your child, then put Shepherd's promise at the top of your list. I originally checked them out because of their convenient location, but stayed because of the smiles that i have seen on my son's face. Don't believe me just ask the parents like myself who have been there for multiple years. .......Anthony Jackson Sr.

This is the 3rd daycare my child has been in and my biggest regret has been not checking out Shepherd's Promise sooner! We could not be happier with the teachers, staff and curriculum. Shepherd's Promise is clean, affordable and safe. We love the Christian values that are taught and exuded by the staff and teachers. I know my child feels the love at Shepherd's Promise and so do we! I recommend Shepherd's Promise every chance I get!

Overall

Shepherd's Promise is a great place for your children to learn acadmically and grow socially. The activities that the staff have the children working on help them develop fine motor skills as infants and toddlers as well as help them go beyond the ABC's and 123's as they get older. I am constantly amazed at how much information my daughters are able to learn on a daily basis.

The faculty and staff are also a pleasure to be around. They refer to each child by name and stress the importance of being respectful to one another along with the staff. My wife and I constantly get compliments on how well behaved our girls are when we are out in public. We would like to take all of the credit but we know that Shepherd's Promise gets some of the credit by reinforcing the values that we teach our girls at home.

We have 2 boys in Shepard's Promise. As anyone that has ever paid childcare can imagine, its not the cheapest thing in the world. Its one of those things that you have to have though. The staff at Shepard's Promise understands this and makes every effort to ease the hit of that monthly expense. They have several different discounts available. From multiple children discounts, to city employee discounts. There is a one week vacation allotted, so that if you take a vacation, you wont have to pay for daycare that week when the kids aren't there. In today's economy, every little bit helps. We are blessed to have our kids in a place they love, while at the same time, being a place that is competitive in cost. Food is included in the tuition as well !!

My husband and I adore this daycare! The teachers are wonderful, the atmosphere is great and the facility is spotless. We also love the extras, like the monthly free Parent's Night out and the Kona Ice and Water play during the summer. I also love that they recently started being able to deduct the tuition straight from my checking account so I don't have to write any more checks! --Megan Boullion
