Honest and very respectful people. Howard didn't give up and did an awesome job repairing our Durango. These folks have a customer for life and I'm already referring co-workers and contractors to them. ����

Went there today, 2010 Toyota Tundra, from my research I thought at minimum it was going to be a torque converter or worst yet transmission and expected a $1400-$3000 repair.



I looked on the internet long and hard, finally decided to go to Cole's. I made the appointment with Sara and took my wife's truck in. Howard took a test drive with me, I even shared what I thought it might be. He suggested to start with something minor rather than going straight for a transmission repair.



He was right, a simple software update and the problem was taken care of. I ended up with a $85.00 repair bill. The biggest thing for me is not that the bill was small, but that he could of just as easily agreed with me and made a major repair. This just shows me they are honest and trustworthy. Money is hard to come by these days and I just greatly appreciate their sincere honesty and help. I rate them highly and would take a vehicle to them any time!

WONDERFUL!!! After pepboys told me that i had a vacuum leak somewhere in the engine (that was supposedly covered in expoxy) and that it would cost up to $3000 to repair it, i wanted a second opinion. My repair was tricky and took some time, but they found it!!! The computer needed to be reprogrammed and cleared of codes...that was it. No vacuum leak...NO epoxy! $137. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Sara and Howard are the best and I would recommend them to anyone. They even called me a couple hours after i picked up my car just to check if everything was going okay. Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful.

If this appears twice, I apologize. It didn't look like it saved the first one so I am repeating. I can't believe I finally found an honest mechanic that has the customer's best interest at heart. You will never see him trying to squeeze more money out of you by coming up with more problems, and you can count on your repairs to be right.

took my van back due to major oil leak..it was covered under their warranty, however they managed to find another problem that cost me additional 184..after having the vehicle for 3 days, drive vehicle home with oil light flashing.. so i take it back and now they want to charge me another 60 for diagnostics .. i was really hoping i found a honest mechanic that stood behind their work, guess i need to keep looking. they want to nickel and dime me due to the cost they had to eat for the warranty work.. Howard even told me it was a shame he had to eat the cost of this...

does great work and very honest. originally i was upset that my car was not ready when they said it would be. but the reason why is because they wanted my car to be perfect, and it is. i think most other shops that i dealt with wouldve slapped something together but coles auto took the appropriate time and care to make sure my car ran as good as new. they earned my repeat business

This is the second time I have taken my car for a repair (different problems), and the second time that Howard has been a life saver. He and his wife Sarah (runs office) are definitely angels on earth. He goes well beyond being just a mechanic. They treat you like a family friend or neighbor. It's not about the $$ with them - they actually care about the customer. Bless them. Wish more businesses had their attitude. Concerned about your car - give Howard a chance. You will not be disappointed.

Let me start by saying my husband is a mechanic and he has fixed our cars for years, but when he's stumped Howard is the man we call. He is precise and efficient. My car had electrical issues and was towed to the shop in the afternoon and it was ready the next day. I will tell everyone this is the place to come for honest and precise auto service.

About a month ago, my car light came on. I have a 2011 Chrysler 200 and approx 49,000 miles on it. I took my car to AutoZone and they ran a code test and the print out stated that the the 6th cylinder was misfiring. The gentleman there said I probably needed a tune up. I took it to the dearlership and told them my engine light was on and they said they would do the tune up for 300 dollars. Didn't ask why I wanted one or anything like that. I soon realized they were just trying to get my money and really figure out what the issue was. I decided to take it to another place and they ran a code test too. The guy said I needed a tune up and quoted me at 185 for the labor and asked me to buy all the parts. This just didn't sound right to me so I jumped in my car and went down the road a ways.

I pulled up the Cole's Auto and Transmission Repair and was greeted by Howard Cole. He asked how he could help me. I asked him if they did tune ups there and he said yes, but asked why I wanted a tune up. I then told him that my engine light was on and that AutoZone hinted that I needed a tune up. Howard asked what kind of vehicle I had and how many miles were on it. I provided the requested information. Howard right away said that he would do a tune up if I wanted one, but he didn't want me to waste my money because it wasn't going to fix the issue. He stated that was probably an issue with the ignition coil on the 6th cylinder. He said he would need to take a look at it and run a diagnostics check. Not even 30 minutes later, he came out and said that it was indeed the ignition coil that needed to get replaced and that my car did not need a tune up. Unfortunately, he didn't have the part. His wife Sara, got on the phone with the dealership and ordered one right away. I was in total awe with their honesty. The other two agencies would have done a tune up and it would not have corrected the issue at hand and my car would have continued acting up. When the part came in... Sara gave me a call, I took the car in and it was fixed within an hour and a half.

We need more people like Howard and Sara in this world!! They are good people and will treat you like a neighbor or part of the family. TRUST THEM! They are definitely my shop from now on with all my car needs and I am going to suggest them to anyone who needs their car fixed!!!! God Bless them always!!!

My car broke down (I believe providentially) right before Cole's Auto & Transmission Repair. The mechanic came out and offered his help. I really appreciated how he took time and explained the problem to me. Got the car fixed. Turned out even cheeper than the original estimate. Appreciated the good service and honesty!!

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The staff is friendly, and the technician explained my car's issues, estimate was spot on, and service was performed quickly. I've been back with my other vehicles, and all service was done correctly every time.

Quality automotive repair at a reasonable price! Excellent customer service, friendly, and quick. Best mechanic in the area.

If you are looking for an honest mechanic, I would suggest you look elsewhere. All negative reviews are removed form the internet and I expect this review will be down shortly. Personally, I had a very bad experience with these people and I would never go back.

Cole's is the best in town. They take pride in what they do and prices are very reasonable. I have used them multiple time and have always been extremely pleased. Highly Recommended.

I recently purchased a used vehicle which, unfortunately for me, had some major repair issues. Howard took the time to show me personally just what all the problems were and to test the vehicle as I watched each step. We agreed on the price and work to be done. It was a very expensive repair, but the next day Howard and his wife contacted me to say that further testing showed the major problems were resolved and that the cost was at least half the original price. It made my day and the honesty of these shop owners is incredible. The work was top knotch when I got my car back. I got another phone call from them later to tell me that I had left a pair of sunglasses inside the loaner car they had provided to me. The car was clean as a whistle when I picked it up and it runs like a top, which is a far cry from what it was doing when I brought it in to be serviced. I'd recommend this shop to anyone who wants dependable service and honesty. Both are generally hard to find these days, but Cole's has the market cornered on them. I'll be a return customer if I need any additonal work done on my vehicles in the future. Nice folk and nice doing business with them.

I recently purchased a used car for my daughter who will be driving in a few months. After purchasing the car everything started to fall apart. I went to several shops (and spent several thousand dollars) before I wound up to Cole's and had the pleasure of meeting Howard and Sarah. After Howard took a look at my daughter's car and running some diagnostic tests, he advised me that it would not be a good idea to keep fixing the car because it would continue to have problems - and he did not charge me for the testing that he did. Howard could have easily taken my money for additional repairs (as the others before him had done) but he didn't. I appreciate his honesty and integrity and I will go to his shop for any repairs that I need in the future. Thank you Howard and Sarah.

Love this place Howard and Sara were wonderful they were able to fix my Jeep for about $200 less than the dealership. They provide wonderful service, explain in detail what is involved with correcting the problem and give you a fair price. I have recommended them to everyone I know and will only be taking my Jeep to them.

Howard and Sara are honest folks and detail oriented. Howard and his staff were able to diagnose and resolve our "major" front diff issue, where two other transmission shops were jokes. Note: before any repairs are made, Sara advises of the repair (new or reman part) and estimate. Lastly, if necessary they provide a loaner vehicle (minimal fee + fuel).

i think this is a great place they were very helpful on the phone and explained every thing in detail i really like that and will use them in the future

Cole's is the ONLY place I will bring my cars and truck from now on! Recently I began having transmission issues and took it to another transmission repair shop. They gave me an estimate of almost $3,000 to rebuild it... I took it to Cole's and Howard looked at it and diagnosed the problem- instead of rebuilding my transmission or selling me a new one, he fixed it for about $700.



Not only was it good work, they were SUPER FAST and SUPER FRIENDLY! I felt I was dealt with honestly and fairly and I would HIGHLY recommend them for any car issues!
