Overall

Forced to buy their insurance after I had bought my own policy. License plate fell off. Charged me 300 dollars for lost plate. When I refused the supervisor threatened to call the police. Christopher (supervisor) refused to give me the phone number for the manager. Almost missed our flight. Terrible customer service. Harassing and threatening.

Single star too much! Forced to pay for insurance and toll transponder-didn't need either. There's a reason the music is loud in the waiting room--unsuspecting customers can't hear the sales job. Awful place-Do not go here.

AWFUL! I had a reservation for over 3 months to park my car there and when I did bring it in @ the confirmed time on my reservation they refused to park it stating that they did not have a space. I ended up having to take it across the road as I was pressed for time and had to pay 3 times the rate. Stay away from them!

Happy with the overall rental experience. Agent was nice, service was fairly quick. Wish they were inside airport, but that's just a preference. Going off site wasn't a dillema of any sort.

You can't go wrong by renting here. I rented from them from 10/31/15 until 11/4/15 and they had the lowest rates advertised online. When I arrived at the Orlando airport, all the companies inside had lines that could've easily been 1-2 hours long.I walked outside to the shuttle area for economy shuttle, and within 10 minutes they arrived. the shuttle ride was quick. They had a line as well, but not nearly as long, plus they had a lot of rental agents when I was there, so I assume they planned better. I was at the counter for no more than 5 minutes, then they brought my rental up. I got a nissan altima, which was a mid size car. I paid $13 per day, plus $5 for the toll option I added, and for the additoinal driver fee, since my cousin was going to drive as well. The agent who helped me was very polite, and gave me great tips for my stay. They also were kind enough to print directions to my resort. I wasn't pressured nto upgrades or additional insurance, since my credit card covered me for insurance. Will use them when I return in March again.

Great experience really. Don't believe these reviews, as I did not encounter any of these problems. I didn't have to call for the shuttle, as it was already at the terminal. I walked in, handed them my driver license, and AMEX platinum card. They asked why I was in town, and were very friendly. They asked the basic questions such as if I would like toll options, GPS, insurance, upgrade, etc. For everything, I politely declined. They weren't pushy, nor did the agent's tone change. I got a new Nissan Maxima which actually already had GPS. It was a premium car that I reserved for only $20/day. I'd use them, and would try their other locations as well in the future.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Booked on Travelocity 2 days before I arrived in Orlando. Found these phones in the airport with their ad on them, so I called for a shuttle. Within minutes, like 2, the shuttle appeared. The check in process was quick, and pretty straightforward. I did buy their insurance, as I don't have good coverage, but again, it was pretty stress free and not aggressive. They just simply asked. I also opted for the toll pass option, which was perfect, as I was going between Orlando and FT Lauderdale. I got a really nice nissan versa, but it was great because it had only 400 miles, rear view camera, and aux and usb. Will recommend them to all my family back in Toronto!

DO NOT BOOK YOUR CAR RESERVATION THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!!! I have full-coverage insurance through GEICO and they stated I had to put down a $1000 deposit because of my deductibles. No other car rental company requires a deposit if you decline their insurance and use your own. Customer Service was horrible and I will never use them again.

AMAZING experience! I had a booking on Expedia next door with Advantage. After they screwed me over, I tried Economy. I got a brand new BMW X5 for $40/day, and was not pressured into buying extra items I didn't need. See below for my review on Advantage:

NEGATIVE 2 STARS IF POSSIBLE! Booked on Expedia for pick-up on September 10 at 5PM. The shuttle was quick, which was where the good ended. When I arrived, I had to take a number, and sit to be called?? Then, after about 20 minutes, I went to the counter. The agent said they were out of convertibles, and that they could give me either a compact car for the same price, or I can upgrade to a cadillac ATS for $30 MORE per day. I told the agent that this wasn't my fault that you were out of convertibles, and should at least upgrade me for free, not that I wanted an ATS. Cadillacs are so ugly. The agent wasn't willing to assist, and there was no manager. I then proceeded to walk outside to the shuttle area so I can get a shuttle back to the airport. While standing outside, I did see Economy Rent a car next door. I walked over there to see what they could offer. When I walked in, they too were busy, however the line did move quick, and they had baristas giving samples of their drinks while you wait. When I went to the counter, I told them I don't have a reservation, and that advantage pretty much screwed me over. They advised me that they were short on cars, but that they will check what's available. They told me that they are out of Camaros, but that they can match my convertible price, and I can receive a convertible VW Beetle. I told them I'll take it if I must, but wanted to know what the other options were. The agent told me that they have some full size passats left, or premium Dodge Chargers SXT. They also said they have some BMW X5s, or 5 series. I asked them how much the X5 would be, and they said $40/day. That was CHEAPER than my convertible at Advantage. I told them that I will take the X5. The car was GORGEOUS. It was the newer design, and had a huge panoramic roof, and navigation system. It was pretty much fully loaded. They also offered me free coffee inside. I was really happy with their service. DO NOT RENT FROM ADVANTAGE!!! They will screw you, and leave you. Economy was great, and happy I tried them.

I rented from here last month when I took my family on vacation to Disney. I booked a car because of the price but I should have known I would get what I was paying for. I had to pay more then double me fee to purchase insurance that I did not need because the agent who checked me in did not give me the option of showing proof of my insurance through the insurance company's mobile app. Then after over half an hour I am told there is no car for me and I have to wait another 15 minutes only to be given a car with no windshield washer fluid in it. When I returned the car I tried to speak to a manager but was told there were none available. I spoke to an agent about how unhappy I was that I was not given the option to show electronic proof of my insurance and he repeated (insistently) that electronic proof was not accepted. I tried to give him a copy of the terms/agreement that clearly stated that indeed I could have pulled up my insurance on the insurance company's app and used that but he refused to look at it and just kept telling me I could not use electronic proof. I wrote a complaint email to Signature and after days of back and forth was told that they do infact accept insurance through mobile apps and 100's of times a day at that. But that since it was a "he said/she said" situation there really isn't much to be done. They offered me 50% of the cost of my insurance to be refunded. I told them I was not happy with that and asked again why I was not given the option to use the mobile app and why the agent repeatedly told me it was never an option to begin with. Doing a quick internet search I see that the Attorney General in FL is involved and there have been news stories about swindling customers. My advice is to stick with the big name rental companies. It would have been cheaper for me. Also, I have more to complain about with this situation but the violation of my rental agreement is the biggest issue.

I had a great experience using them for my car rental needs in Orlando. WHen I arrived, I called the number for the shuttle. Within 2 minutes, I saw 2 shuttles at the ground transportation area. The company was about a 7 minute ride. When we got there, it was busy, however, the line went fairly quick. My agent asked me if I wanted to add the toll option, and I accepted. He then proceeded to ask if I would take coverage, and I declined, only because I have full coverage on my car back home. They asked if I wanted an upgrade, and I did accept that, and got a new dodge charger. Other people at the counter were mad that their agents were offering extra things, but that's their jobs, and literally every company does that.



I will use them when I visit Orlando again in December.

I had a good experience renting with Economy rent a car. Booked my car while at the airport on carrentals.com. I then waited for their shuttle for about 7 minutes. The agency is not too far from the office, and with my rate at $8/day, it was well worth it. I booked a mini car, but they did upgrade me for free to a mid-size volkswagen Jetta. I was under 25, so I paid an extra $10/day, which is low, since Budget wanted to charge me $25/day extra!! WHen it came time to return my rental vehicle, it was very quick. I simply pulled in under their covered canopy, and an attendant approached me, and noted the gas and miles. I was then advised for which shuttle I would take back to MCO. Good bargain.

Parked my car here before heading out of MCO for 3 weeks on a trip across Asia. Besides their super affordable rates, the facility is impressive. It's very well kept, and clean. They had a lovely coffee shop area inside, with pastries, sandwiches and snacks. Check in was easy, and quick. We then waited about 5 minutes until the shuttle came. The shuttles are easily the best shuttles I have ridden in for off airport parking companies. To Start, they are Mercedes Benz. Secondly, they are large, with high roofs, so you don't feel clustered inside. When we arrived back in Orlando last night, we followed the instructions on the email we received, and we got in the shuttle pretty quickly. Our car was already pulled up when we arrived back. I will gladly use them next, which is perfect because I have 2 free days since I was gone for 21 days.

I was nervous to rent here because of the negative reviews on the other sites, but I am thrilled I rented from them. I had no problem whatsoever. The car I received worked just fine, and was great on gas. The shuttles to and from the airport were quick, and the drivers were very pleasant. I did not have to wait in line too long, but that could be because I arrived at midnight. I will definitely rent from Economy again, and will tell all my colleagues about them.

Excellent service on the rental vehicle. The price was right, and the cars were all new. I received a new sentra, which only had 300 miles on it. It had a rear view camera, which was very helpful while in Orlando, and going down to Miami. I will use them next time again.

Good service. I got a free upgrade since my compact car I reserved was sold out. I arrived pretty late, at 12 AM, however, I had no problems. Agent was nice, and patient with me. I took their insurance option because I got into a car accident before with a rental, and it was not fun. I also took their toll option, however, the agent dropped it from $7.day to only $4/day since I wasn't going to be traveling to Miami or anything.



I will definitely rent here again. I will also book on rentalcars.com.

Good service. My rental had about 300 miles on it, and was clean. Shuttles were all prompt as well. My agent Frank was great, and very personable. He asked me what I was doing in Orlando, and asked if I would like a courtesy map. I will use them again next time in Orlando
