Only four stars because spending money on my car sucks. But you guys did a great job.

I borrowed my friend’s car when I was in Orlando visiting Universal. The first day everything was fine and I packed my friends in the SUV and we enjoyed the park. But the second day, the A/C stopped working! We also noticed that the check engine light was on. I felt like it was my responsibility since I borrowed the car, so I looked up repair services that were close to us.



When I called City Garage, they were very friendly and said they could take a look right away. They reassured me that it probably wasn’t something serious and a quick oil change and repair of a small A/C leak might be all that was needed. I dropped the car off that morning and spend the rest of the day at the park with my friends.



I got a call from City Garage before the end of the day. They said the car was fixed and explained that they changed the oil, added refrigerant to the AC, and checked several other things to make sure the car was running properly. I was able to pick up the car before 5 PM, and the best part was the bill! I have never had a car repair be so cheap! I was expecting hundreds of dollars like I was used to, but this bill wasn’t even half of what I thought it would be.



If you live in the Orlando area, please don’t bring your cars to the dealer to have them serviced, especially with little problems like I had. City Garage has amazing, fast service for less than half the price of other places!



As it turns out, my friend was having problems with the AC before, so I wasn’t the one who broke it (so relieved!). I told her about this place and she plans to use them for any future needs.

My clutch pedal went to the floor and I thought I was going to have to spent 1000.00 to have my clutch fixed. It ended up just the slave cylinder and cost me only a couple of hundred dollars. Very honest shop.

Avoid any repair place that requires you to pay in advance. Work does not get done and no refunds. I'm calling channel 9 to do a story on this place.

Google "Dealer Direct Scam" for the truth about Chris Shuler, the owner. This shop is a scam. Whatever you do, never pay "up front" for an auto repair. My "Unlimited Warranty" was worthless. The car has been sitting at the shop for "warranty" work for over six weeks now. I'm going to have to pay to have it towed to another shop. They never even provided an invoice with the parts listed as new or used, and charged me for parts that I had bought and put in 3 days before I took the car to them.

City Garage Transmissions and Auto Repair did an excellent job. They repaired my AC within 30 minutes. Great service and great warranty. I love their honesty especially Chris is highly professional.

I'm relatively new in the area, and needed to find a reliable automotive repair and service shop to help me with numerous issues that have been creeping up with my car recently. I had been noticing some issues with my suspensions, alignment, and some strange things happening with my engine, and since I'm not an expert, I needed a shop that would provide honest, friendly, and courteous service and wouldn't try to take me (and my wallet) for a ride.



I was pleased when I called City Garage on a whim and had a pleasant conversation with them over the phone. They were patient with me and didn't talk down to me or make me feel small for not knowing exactly what the problem was. I came in the same day and they did some diagnostic testing, and I didn't even have to pay from the estimate. For me, this was big; other shops I called had no patience for me being unsure about the exact nature of the problem, and would have charged a substantial amount for the estimate.



In the end, I was expecting the repairs to be more expensive than they were. Ultimately the engine issue was minimal, and the prices for everything were extremely fair. They were pretty quick with my car, and even gave me a ride home. I would happily work with City Garage again next time I have any needs with my vehicle.

This place jumpstarted my love for Floridans! My car started making some very sketchy sounds while I was driving up here, and like the idiot I am, I just ignored it. On my way to a job interview, it completely crapped out and wouldn’t even turn on. Very lucky for me, City Garage was a few blocks away. I was already noticeably freaking out a bit when I walked in, but they got me to relax before taking a look at my car. They were really good about telling me what they were planning on doing and charged me a reasonable price. And even better, they finished in time for me to make it to my interview!

Not only were all my questions always answered, the staff was friendly, and willing to help in any capacity to ensure a positive experience.

I had my transmission done and I am extremely pleased with the service. The staff was very nice and extremely polite. They gave me a ride both ways to work, kept me up to date on the repairs and the pricing was very much within range. I like to keep my business local so finding a good shop was an extra bonus. Very highly recommend

I did not let this shop fix my honda. I wish I would have. I got a lower quote at another shop, and three weeks has gone by and my van is still at the other shop not fixed. What the old saying? "You get what you pay for"!

Couldn't have been a better experience. I doubt we would have been treated the same anywhere else. Everyone I have told about this can't believe it!
