I had a prompt good visit staff is very knowledgeable especially Jackie and the schoolteacher and I won't take my dogs anywhere else from now on my dogs are unleashed

Miss Jackie is awesome! Jayda loves going to Unleashed to be pampered. She looks and feels so great. Miss Jackie and all the groomers take such good care of her. Our Chinese Crested is very unsual and they took the time to groom her properly. She came home today with beads and a bow and feather in her hair.. They are always willing to do whatever it takes to get her looking fabulous. We love the way she looks. Our little pony is one pampered special girl. I LOVE this place! I have taken my 6 dogs to tons of different places, from Petsmart and dozens of off the wall BS places. I have paid a whole bunch of money that was wasted! My dogs have never looked better, (: I took them to unleashed and the people there were SO super nice and respectful they treated my dogs great! And made them look amazing (: The prices were NOT outrageous like all the other places either. I am a forever client here I won't take my 6 dogs anywhere else. Jackie is the greatest!

I have been taking my little Yorkie to Unleashed for over a year and love this place (joey also likes going)! We are always so pleased with the way he looks when we pick him up. The Owner, her instructor and all of the students do a fantastic job. Wouldn't go any place else!!!

Just finished a lawsuit with them. Notice the ones leaving the good reviews are the young kids or family/close friends. My personal experience is my dog's throat was cut at Unleashed. They ruled in favor of Unleashed only because it's a "school" & we took the risk. We were NEVER told children as young as 11 can groom your pet. They refused to pay the huge vet, were rude, & my dog could have bled to death. Will NEVER return there. Others have had similar problems. Read ALL the reviews - not just a few. Ask around. Realize by going to a grooming school, if your dog is injured, you are responsible for costs. It's not worth going to a place $10-25 cheaper. Go to a groomer that doesn't allow minors to work. Can never recommend this place.

I am one of the newest graduates of Unleashed. Jackie and Amy were the best instructors I could have ever asked for. I went in to the school somewhat scared of the dogs biting and the career being something I could never do. I came out loving it more than anything, talking to everyone about it, and feeling very confident that I can groom whatever dog comes my way. They taught me everything I needed to know. They even helped me learn how to get a job or set up my own salon in the future. Going to school here was the best choice I could have made.

I am a former student of Unleashed and I just graduated November 1st. The instructors here are amazing and know exactly what to teach the student to get them going in the life of grooming. Not only do they help with the grooming experience, but they also help you with running a business and show you what exactly you will need for tools. They are also the only school around that teaches Scissoring. Its a great thing to know and learn!! These wonderful instructors help create a wonderful environment to work in.

If I had to pick a place for my furry critters to go, it would be Unleashed. The students do great and the people running the place have great heads on their shoulders. They run it well and I would never expect anything terrible from them.

I attended Unleashed Pet Grooming School and it is a great school! Jackie the owner and Amy her assistant are great, they are very nice and very patient with every student. Weather you are interested in attending school or just taking your pet up there to be groomed is a great choice. You learn scissoring to which I found that other schools do not teach and that is a great skill to have! Jackie also makes sure you feel comfortable with what you are doing and doesn't move you on to the next thing until she feels you're ready which the way she shows you to do things makes it easy to learn and doesn't take long which is great! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone I know because the prices are also great and you always get your pet back looking awesome!

I feel like I got the best hands on training that I needed to go out and start my new career. The Instructor Jackie and Assistant Amy are personable,very patient and encouraging, and are always on hand to help you through every step of training. I feel I will go far with the training I received from this school and would recommend it to anyone wanting to start a new career.

Excellent school, excellent grooming and an excellent environment. This is the only place I would take my dogs to groom.

I'd like to say Thank you to Jackie the owner and to Amy her assistant at Unleashed, I learned so much, yal are great Lady's. If anyone is looking into going to dog grooming school or looking to find a great place to take your dog or cat to get groomed and have affordable prices this is the place to go. You don't have to worry what your lil baby will look like by taking them to a school because Jackie and Amy checks every dog and cat to make sure they have been cleaned and groom properly and are leaving with a professional grooming. Like i said if your looking for a career in dog grooming or just looking to take you baby to a great groomer this is the place, you wont be disappointed!!!!!

I attended Unleashed Pet Grooming School. I feel the reason I was able to find employment immediately after I graduated was because of the school's excellent reputation & the skills I was was taught. I was able to enter my new profession completely confident & ready for my new career.

Great Place To Get Your Pets Groomed

I have taken my dog Max to Unleashed for nearly a year now.The owner Jackie and the students are always very friendly and treat all the pets in a very careing way. I would recommend Unleashed to any pet owner needing a groomer. Oh, and by the way, did I mention their prices are the best and Max always looks GREAT.

Before graduation: Jackie (the owner) starts all of her students out easy, with baths and all-over shaves, and eases them into the more intricate cuts over time. I never felt uncomfortable or rushed to move forward in the curriculum. However, I left feeling (almost) fully capable of grooming professionally. In addition to the great education, the environment at Unleashed was fantastic! Jackie, as well as her assistant, Amy, is incredibly helpful and PATIENT. I asked certain questions more than once and heard my classmates do the same, but our instructors always answered them with the most tolerant and professional demeanor.



After graduation: I’ve interviewed at two different grooming shops, and both have told me that they’ve heard wonderful things about Unleashed. These are our potential employers, and they have nothing but good things to say about this school! The job I decided to take chose me over someone who had FIVE YEARS of experience grooming…at a less sophisticated level. And, on the first day at work, the manager asked me for Jackie’s phone number so that she could call and thank her for giving me such good training!



Bottom line, if you’re willing to show up, follow instruction, and take things seriously, you’ll be on your way to being an excellent groomer by the time you graduate. I can’t say enough good things about this course.

BEST PLACE IN OKC!! I bring my lab here every time he needs a bath, the students and owner are all very nice. My dog always gets in and out in good time. Also they are always willing to work around my schedule if i'm running late on picking him up.

I was very pleased with this service when I brought my pug/beagle to Jackie for a grooming! She was very nice and always wore a smile! My dog normally doesn't like people but she loved Jackie! I'm so happy with the service they gave me and plan on coming back again!

I am a graduate from Unleashed Grooming School in 2012. I would highly recommend Unleashed to any student having the desire to learn the art of pet grooming. I drove 1.5 hours one-way each day and actually looked forward to it. Jackie is such an amazing person, her love and dedication to her school and every customer/client that enters the shop is second to none. I have recently opened my own Mobile grooming business, without Jackie’s dedication and desire to have every student confident and successful, this would not have been possible.

I'm a student a week away from graduating at Unleashed. I cannot say enough about Jackie and her ability as an instructor. She is one of the most patient, gentle, and relatable people I've met in general. She truly cares about animals. All of them. No exceptions. Even the ones who may not be so cute or nice. And trust me, there are plenty of those. She has a system to advance individuals, and I believe she customizes that per student, based on their comfort level and how quickly they catch on. She would never throw something at you she didn't feel confident you could do (with supervision and instruction, of course), BUT she also doesn't allow students she can tell are ready to NOT do something new because they may feel unsure of themselves unnecessarily. What she does takes more finesse than one might imagine. I know I couldn't do it! She finishes up each dog/cat ensuring they go out the door looking just as good, and in many cases even BETTER than a full priced salon, and at DEEPLY discounted prices. She has worked very hard to get where she is today, and she more than deserves it. She's a genuine person who would help any human or any dog/cat/squirrel/ferret/etc, etc, etc no matter what. I also should add that she has old students come in all the time just to visit. That alone should speak to what kind of teacher she is. I feel very indebted to Jackie, and also her assistant instructor, Amy. If you love animals and want to have a career dealing with them, but don't want to have to see heartbreaking situations like you would working for a vet, go to Unleashed. Pay attention, learn & become successful as a Groomer!

Jackie and her staff have always been good to my dogs. I have been a customer of this establishment almost since they were founded several years ago and I wish them continued success and I will continue trying to refer anybody I can who has a dog or cat to Unleashed.

I will also forever be grateful to them for the care and dignity they showed my little dog Cupcake when she was getting older and needed special attention and handling as well

I have given the dog grooming 3 chances to groom my poodle. I understand they are students and did not expect perfection, but my simple written instructions were never even closely carried out. Today they kept him for 11 hours and promised me several times he would be done. They hadn't even started in him at the 10 hour mark. He looks awful and his tail wasn't cut at all. Had the nerve to try to charge me 30.00 for a medium size poodle after all that. Will never go back!!!
