Called for a cab...waited over 40 minutes...still no cab...my car was in shop never use a cab service...but my son had a party to attend...well needless to say my son missed his friends party...I had to cancel cab...

We liked, very much. Now back to Austria.

We used their service to take us to the airport and were very satisfied.

I took the advice of others reviews, they were 100% correct: Metry Cab was on-time, courteous, very reasonably priced, and personable to boot. Around 11pm we called for a ride to the airport at 5am the next morning, after being disconnected by another company twice. Not only did we NOT have to wait on hold for an hour, but the guy who took our call actually thanked us for our business. That never happens with cab companies! So the cab arrived 5 minutes early, and he drove us to the airport. When we ran into a couple of construction zones and closed streets, he let us know which detours he was taking and why, which was much appreciated. Overall it was a swift, stress-free ride and the driver got a nice big tip. These guys are a class act.

Zurich Classic and Jazz Fest along with a convention going on. All this means cabs will be busy and you will have long waits but luckily I was saved after my car wouldn't start at the mall. I called Metry Cab and the call taker advised me there would be a wait time, I appreciated this honesty and understood with all the events going on. About 20 minutes after I called the cab arrived, now hopefully the tow truck will get my car to the mechanic shop.

Called to get to local store and waited approx 30 mins. Called to get back and am at 45 mins and waiting. Keep telling me he's almost here.

I have lived her for 7 months now and have used this company before any others because of the good service they provided. I am only giving them 4 stars and not 5 because of the wait time on a few occasions. The service they offer is solid and I would definetly wait for them rather than resulting to another taxi but I have learned you must call in advance and schedule your travel. They seem to have an overload of business which I assume is for the good service they provide, that's why they are my first choice. I will recommend them to others and advise to pre arrange your travels.

Had to be picked up from the airport for my Final Four Vacation. Planning ahead I called this company and pre arranged my pickup for 03/31/12 due to the fact that I knew there would be long waits for cabs due to all the business. I also arranged my pickup for Today 4/1/12 for my return flight back home. Everything went very smoothly with the service and at both times the taxi was on time, clean, and drivers were super friendly. Now I sit at the Airport waiting on my flight back home. Thank You Metry Cab and no matter the outcome go Buckeyes!!!!!

If this service, according to online accolades, is the best the city has to offer, then perhaps we should all start looking for a horse or something. I had a plane to catch and a 15 minute ride to the airport from River Ridge. The driver was half hour late(35 mins actually), almost made me miss my flight. Repeated calls to the company resulted in nothing but lies ("he is almost there"), and the driver could not at all understand my ire when he finally did show up. To him, lateness of this sort was just a part of his everyday routine. Perhaps businesses in New Orleans operate on some sort of a mexican "manana" schedule, and if this is par for the course, order your cabs waaaaay early, and make them wait until you are ready. I bet the wait will be miniscule.

We called Metry Cab for all of our transportation with our group visiting to support our Kentucky Wildcats Basketball Team! We will be using them again when we come back in a few weeks. Definetly a quality company! GO WILDCATS!

Called one day in advance scheduling our airport pickup and everything was confirmed. Called the morning of and the dispatcher said everything was fine. Arrived at New Orleans airport and no cab. Called the company and was told the owner was in an important taxi meeting with the city and couldn't help me. They sent me another cab which arrived about 25 min later. I got in and immediatly felt uncomfortable with this driver. He got me too my destination faster than speed of sound and made me car sick due to his wreckless driving. I paid him the fare and went on my way. Now I am not a competitor but I am a CUSTOMER, and honestly if you make a complaint what will the company actually do about it other than tell you what you wanna hear, so that's pointless. I acknowledge the point of an owner posting a positive review of their company but to blame it on your competitor I would say is a cheap scapegoat, due to the fact that I was a customer and was not satisfied.

I called for a cab on Sunday Feb 26. Had to wait about 60 minutes before the cab arrived to pick me up. The car was not in too bad of shape but the inside was dirty with a slight odor. The driver was nice at first but then talked on his cell phone most of the time. He took me to the wrong place twice which I'm not sure why, either he didn't know where he was going or was too busy talking on his phone. When we finally arrived to my house I asked if their would be a credit for the 2 mistaken addresses he went too and his response was "I can't change what's on the meter, just don't tip me and that will be fine". Well I just decided to pay it and go on my way. I called the dispatcher back and made a complaint, they gave me another number to call and I left a message. 2 days later and no return call so I decided to post my review, I was reluctant to even make a complaint because now the driver knows where I live. I don't think I will be using their services again. Sorry.

I would like to personally thank the drivers and staff at this company. For the past 8 years my family and I have been provided with very friendly service and patience on the drivers part when dealing with our handicap child. We will always use this company for our taxi needs and their longstanding reputation is why my family and friends have always used them. Everyone from Metairie knows Metry Cab even as a child you know the name LOL. Thank you, Ann.

I had to take a Metry Cab to the doctors office this morning and I was very pleased with how I was treated. I will use them for my next appointment.

We tried calling a bunch of companies but all had long waits and busy phones. We decided to use this taxi because of the positive reviews and the way the person who answered the phone spoke to us. Every other one seemed to be a little rude and arrogant. It was a great choice on our part. Taxi arrived earlier than the estimated wait time and was able to get us to our destination in a reasonable time frame even with the traffic. Definetly worth using.

I am a part-owner of A Service Cab. These reviews are not indicative of the service that we provide to our customers. Our regular customers love us and refer us to family and friends constantly. We are concerned that one of our competitors is writing these reviews without any facts to back them up. Please know that if you have any problems with our company, call either Tom or Richard at 834-4561. We will do everything we can to resolve the issue immediately. We are members of the Better Business Bureau and receive very few complaints there or through our office.

We have been in town for 3 days already and have had nothing but great service from this company. We knew there would be a demand for taxi's in the area with the Mardi Gras so we arranged everything ahead of time, which was a good move for us. We will continue to use this company on our future trips to the area without a doubt.
