Construction is difficult to get around. Location is the farthest from the terminal. Instructions to shuttle was hard to understand. I ended up walking from Terminal 2 to the shuttle bus center for hotels to Terminal 3 for a pickup. Service at the off-site location was quick and efficient. They tried to sell-up at every opportunity. Did not take the gas-option. Note there are not many stations nearby to fillup when returning. If coming from the city, exit @ Cumberland and find a gas station, then take that road toward the airport and the location will be on your left after a few miles.

Scam artists. I have rented from Enterprise for years with no problem. Then I returned a car and they "found" a scratch on the front bumper that was not listed when I took out the car. When I inspected the car, it was dark, the car is black, it was under a roof and the scrape was not visible.
When I returned it in the bright sunlight, they found it. A very minor scrape that I am sure that I was not responsible for. However, I have filed with the insurance company (American Express) and don't expect any more hassles.

Got great service. I asked and paid for an intermediate SUV and got upgraded to a standard size SUV after I expressed concern that my family and luggage would not fit in a standard size SUV. The Ford Traverse we got was in great condition with only 1200 miles on it. We got the tollway and gas options and got our money's worth. The provided great service, helping us with our bags at every step of the way. We are very satisfied customers.

Felt this is the best place to rent a car especially in busy weekends and long holidays for cheap prices where every other car rental is going to rip us off. But, make a note, it's very hard to find the location of the car rental. I rented out a Chrysler Town and Country but it turned out to be my worst nightmare and understood why they rent out for cheaper prices. The car wasn't in it's best condition and it was really difficult to navigate with it.

I prefer Enterprise as a car rental service - I don't feel ripped off as I have had with Hertz. Anyway, the O'Hare location was a challenge. For someone who has never been there before, finding my way using the poor maps was very frightening and they were of no help. What should have been a simple getting onto a highway turned into a three hour nightmare to get somewhere an hour away. And when I was shuttled to the airport to leave, I was dropped off at the wrong terminal (my luggage was removed and trusted I was in the right place) and had to walk very far to the right terminal. As I am recovering from knee surgery, this was painful. I am resolved never to go to Chicago again.

Total RIPOFF! I have taken my business to Hertz. I rented in Chicago with plan to drop in Milwaukee. They charged me $1,600 for a one week rental (so much for the free upgrade)without a drop-off fee (quoted at $77). That is 5x what I was quoted and signed for!

Enterprise is a first class operation. From the time we got on the bus at O'Hare to the time they dropped us back off after our two week rental they were professional, friendly, and went out of their way to be helpful. It was a refreshing experience. Enterprise is the opposite of "customer no-service".

We had a very nice experience renting a car from Enterprise at the Chicago O'Hare airport. Picking up the car was easy, the car ran great during the time that we had it, and the check-in process was very quick. I would advise getting the I-Pass for the tolls around the Chicago area, we did not do so and we missed a couple toll booths and had to make payment on-line which was not easy. I believe the I-Pass was less than $10 and would have been well worth it because we spent at least that much on tolls.
I also feel that all the fees that you have to pay now to rent a car has made rental cars extremely expensive for the average consumer. It would be nice if there was a separate set of fees for personal trips vs business trips.

I rented a car from Enterprise on 8/3/2015. I had to choose Enterprise, as it is a corporate partner with my company and I was forced to choose the lowest rate of the rental providers. This was my first time with Enterprise and I had to set up a new online account. That was easy and booking was easy (through my corporate travel site).
On the positive side: Upon arrival, I was professionally greeted, the counter staff was very pleasant and it took about 15 minutes to check in, review the rental agreement and obtain my car. They have very good customer service.
Now the downside... .
I'm a corporate traveler. I usually take early flights to Chicago and arrive by 6:00 – 7:00 am. I travel frequently and I am used to other rental providers who provide "enhanced" service, in the form of frequent traveler programs such as Fast Break from Budget, Avis Preferred or Hertz Gold Plus. The programs allow you to arrive, go directly to your rental car and drive away. This is the service that I want/need.
While Enterprise may believe that "personalized, counter based service" is what I want, it is not. I do NOT want to stand in line for 15 to 20 minutes to get my car, especially on a 90 degree day in August or a -10 degree day in February.
Until they provide this service, I will request an exemption at my corporate travel site, which would permit me to utilize a rental company that provides the level of service I want/need, not what Enterprise "thinks" I want.

At the Chicago airport on 7/22/15 we were told that they would add my father in law as a secondary driver. The car was issued to my name. They never did and we found out the hard way when he got pulled over.
We were staying in Peoria. We then went to the airport rent a car enterprise at the Peoria airport and they added my father in law as a secondary driver. We were told that it's not normally their policy but since I was a member they would honor it.
The service at peoria enterprise is quick and efficient

They had to find the right vehicle only to have the out of state plates very expired. I wouldn't take the car so they went back to hunt for another appropriate vehicle. They did find one a gave me a small concession. I found the staff friendly and helpful. Just wish they would check the plates a little closer.

Everyone was so friendly there! I was shown all the cars I wanted without hesitation. I was helped promptly. I paid exactly what I was quoted and was asked how customer service was when picking out the car once I returned my car. I would recommend this specific car rental location to anyone.
