We offer complete wellness care for all life stages. This includes appropriate vaccinations based on AAHA recommendations and lifestyle risk factors, screening tests for common diseases and parasites, and preventative medications. Since senior pets have special health needs, it’s important to be aware of how your pet’s body is changing as they age. We offer alternative modalities to treat out senior patients such as laser therapy and acupuncture therapy. We also recommend bi-annual examinations of our senior patients to track changes that may be occurring with them. Her passion in canine sports, athletes and injuries grew and in 2013 she received a certification in Canine Rehabilitation Therapy –which also covers cats and other species. (Rehabilitation therapy is like Physical Therapy for people and involves focused study on musculoskeletal injury diagnosis, pain relief and recovery.) She has since become more focused on small animal medicine and really enjoys all facets of general practice. “I really enjoy getting to know my patients and clients and thrive in a team environment working together to determine what is best for a particular patient.” She tremendously enjoys behavior and helping people manage puppyhood through senior stages. She became certified in Low Stress Handling in 2018. She is open minded and likes to include integrative and more natural therapies. In 2017 she earned her degree alongside Dr. Brett Ellis in Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy (which is chiropractic therapy and functional neurology) and decided to come join the Team at Veterinary Associates in May 2018. In her free time she enjoys family time including their cats, four pointer mixes and chickens. She also enjoys competing in skijoring with her pointers and sharing her passion for canine sports.

We utilize state of the art equipment to provide quick, accurate diagnostic results. Our in-house capabilities include complete blood count, blood chemistry profiles, thyroid (T4) testing, heartworm & tick panel tests,urinalysis, and feline viral testing. We use Idexx labs for referral laboratory testing and pathology.
X-Ray
If your animal companion requires x-rays, we offer digital radiography. This technology provides higher quality diagnostic images to evaluate your pet’s condition. We also use mobile units to radiograph large animals on the farm.
Dental Radiology
Veterinary Associates Animal Hospital is a fully equipped surgical and medical facility. Our hospital is equipped with cutting edge technology to assist in your animal’s diagnosis and treatment. We utilize state of the art monitoring equipment to ensure your pet has the safest anesthetic experience possible, diagnostic digital radiographs and ultrasound, and in-house laboratory capabilities. We also offer complete dental care, including dental x-rays.
