When you hire Aptive Environmental, you pay for only one visit per quarter, but you get as many visits as it takes during that quarter to rid your home or yard of pests. Also, Aptive does this with skill, knowledge, and friendliness. For example, on his recent quarterly visit, an Aptive employee treated our property for pests, including a hornet’s nest located in a retaining wall and a carpenter-ant infestation in our shed. We were very happy with his work. However, we then discovered that the hornets had returned and the ants hadn’t left. Therefore, two days later, Aptive sent over a manager -- Joe Williamson -- to re-treat our property. Mr. Williamson took apart the rocks in the retaining wall where the hornets were nesting, dug up and removed some hornet embryos, treated the entire area with chemicals, and then carefully reassembled the rocks back into the wall. Similarly, with regard to the ant infestation, Mr. Williamson not only sprayed the ants with a chemical, but he also removed the cardboard boxes from the shed in which the ants had made a nest, separated out the ruined contents from the usable contents in the boxes, and then hauled away both the ruined boxes and their ruined contents from our property. By the way, although Mr. Williamson used different chemicals for the hornets and the ants, both kinds of chemicals work by having the individuals that are sprayed return to their nests and re-infect everyone else there. In this way, the entire colony is destroyed. I want to commend both Active Environmental and Joe Williamson for their fine work.

Mr. Tyrone Ferguson rang my doorbell to let me know he was outside doing my service and he did an excellent job of cleaning away the spider webs. He was very polite and thorough.

Allan Watts was very efficient and covered the areas outside and did the inside of the garage where he could spray (around the clutter and by steps near garage door and door leading into the house) for the
spiders, bugs, etc. He explained what he was going to do and also after he finished. I felt he did a great job! Very pleased.

Allen Watts, did a great job telling me how it all works. Went over all my yard good. He was on time. He made sure to really get the hot areas really good.

Tom Pullem came to the house to dust yellow jackets that have made residence in our exterior wall. Due to a double booking, he did not have the bee suit to protect him, but he braved the storm of yellow jackets and hit them hard with dust and liquid product. He did a marvelous job in spite of a massive swarm of yellow jackets, and thankfully avoided any stings.

Edward Williams did an excellent job explaining the process and answering my questions. He was very friendly and had a great attitude.

Tyrone Ferguson did a great job of explaining what he was doing and allowed me to watch him while doing so. Tyrone sprayed around outside of house and treated yard with insecticide. He inspected eaves and exterior windows for nests, webs or egg sacs He also applied barrier treatment around the foundation, granular spot treatment to my front/back lawn, spot treatment to eaves and around doors for crawling and flying pest activity. Thanks Tyrone!

Noble did a thorough job outside and inspected our basement for a problem with flies as well. He was courteous, answered questions, and made sure I understood they would come back if there were any further problems. Excellent work!

Tyler Brady took time to lift rocks and logs that are in my flower bed to check for ants. He found some on to logs that were turned into birdhouses and took care of them. He also reminded me that if needed they would come back out free of charge. I had forgotten, but will take advantage if need be. Thank you Aptive for being the professional business that you are and for taking care of my bug problem. I have no sign of Japanese beetles or stink bugs since the first treatment.
