Terri D Walton, MD, is a board-certified doctor of medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She joined Ascension Medical Group Via Christi in 1997. She chose a career in medicine because of her interest in science, continuously learning and patient care. To her, the most rewarding thing about being a doctor is being able to make a positive difference in people's lives. Dr. Walton's best advice to patients is to remember there are no bad questions. She is most proud of becoming someone who others trust with their healthcare. If she hadn't become a doctor, she would have been a professional basketball player. Dr. Walton is a Wichita native and loves the close-knit community. Her first job was at a local bank as a janitor. If she could meet anybody, Dr. Walton would love to meet Mother Teresa. Fun fact, Dr. Walton can't resist chocolate cake!
