He chose cardiology as a specialty because a family member had a heart condition which allowed him to start learning about hearts. His favorite fact about the heart is that it squeezes from top to bottom, from left to right and then twists for the most effective squeeze. The most rewarding thing about being a doctor to him is hearing one of his patients say that their quality of life improved.
