I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Weaver and his staff at Central Kansas Podiatry! It took me a long time to decide to go back (he's the 3rd dr I've seen) to a foot specialist because I figured I was pretty much SOL and would have to deal with my pain. I was literally limping everytime I stood up. It was painful, embarassing, and all the hard work I put in to lose weight was going down the drain because I couldn't stand to run anymore. Whenever I stood up, it felt like I was running around barefoot and ended up stepping on a pebble. It sucked.

So finally I decided to give CKP and Dr. Weaver a shot. First off I must say that I have never been to a clinic with such helpful staff and above that, funny. They understood what I was going through and Dr. Weaver was able to tell me what was wrong with my foot in terms that I understood. I have Plantar Fasciitis, a heel spur, and Achilles Tendonitis. The treament regimen prescribed by him was physical therapy, night splints, stretches, orthotics, inflammation reducing medicine and last but not least, cortisone injections. All have helped tremendously! And, as much as I hate to say it (because they are in no way, shape, or form, pleasant), the injections are a God send! It's a few seconds of pain, but the effects are immediate and amazing! I've had 4 now, and it is so nice to be able to get up and just walk. It sounds ridiculous to say, but if you have heel pain, you get it. Dr. Weaver is the only person I will ever let examine my feet! Great Dr., great staff, great location. In fact, if you are looking for more than great, this is where you need to be. Thank you CKP!

Dr. Benjamin Weaver is an outstanding doctor. I needed to see him for my ingrown toenail because of all the pain it was causing me. I was impressed with his office even before I went in for my appointment. When I called I was greated by a very friendly voice who got me scheduled right away. When I arrived at the office I was amazed at the friendliness of the whole office. I was nervous waiting to see him because of how sore and tender my big toe was. I had picked at it enough that now I had made it bleed. I waited like 10 minutes in the lobby and was called back to a treatment room. The nurse asked me several questions and explained what was going to happen. She told me before Dr. Weaver came in that the worst part was the numbing to the toe so he can work on removing my ingrown toenail. I expressed to Dr. Weaver that I didn't want to lose my toenail. Dr. Weaver assurred me that wouldn't happen. Yes the injection in my toe was very painful but once it went numb I was glad. The pain finally stopped. They explained what was going to happen over the next couple weeks and when I would come back for a follow up appointment with Dr. Weaver . The next day I receieved a phone call to make sure I was still doing ok. I would recommend Dr. Weaver and Central Kansas Podiatry to everyone. They are very kind and professional and you are treated as if you are a family member not just a patient.
