Dr. Hal Jefferson Jenkins, MD

I am amending my previous review.l I am a LONG time patient, and Dr. Jenkins and been nothing but patient, kind, and wonderful for me. The staff, however, has sometimes been busy and short, which is understandable in a busy practice. They are still like family, though, after 10 years. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Jenkins if you want a wonderful Doctor for the entire family.

They treat their long-time patients VERY poorly. If they, for some unknown reason, decide NOT to like you, they make if very hard for you. They screen your calls, make you wait a WEEK for an appointment with the Dr., and THEN the Dr. makes you wait for 30 minutes to see him. This has ALL happened to me! I don't know what I did! And I have been a patient for 10 years. They don't order the proper tests that are needed, without going to the Supreme Court (almost), and I DO NOT recommend this place to ANYONE. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I love Dr Jenkins!!! I have a newborn child and elderly mother in which Dr Jenkins takes excellent care of them both! Its such a blessing to have a wonderful family doctor who can see all of my family, instead of running them all to different places!

Not recommended due to the fact that this practice seems focused on money not the health of patients. They would not see me for an appointment because I owed them $12.00 and did not have my check book with me to pay them. I was very ill with a high fever. To me this is unacceptable. It was not an old balance, infact I had not yet received a bill at all for this amount.
