Do not take your car to be serviced here. I took my car for an oil change and just the oil change was $65.....in addition I was told the new oil plug I purchased was wrong and that it will spin around the pan. (If you’re a car person or have any brains, you know a loose bolt comes undone). Absolutely a joke of a place. The owner is a scum bag that would not answer his phone to fix this problem. End of story what oil place sends you out the door with a loose plug in your oil pan?

Do not go there ever ever ever! My husband went to fix the brakes and they did not help at all. It is worse. And expensive. I bought 4 tires and one tire was damaged and I went and the owner told me that I could not change it after 13 months of use. and it was that the tire exploded that is a factory defect. It was not returned. That place is terrible. Stay away!!!!

Got my brake pads replaced here. Guy didn't tightened my lug nuts when putting tires back on. The next day my front passenger tire nearly came off. By the time I was able to get it to the side of the road, there was one lugnut left and the studs where the others used to be had snapped in half. Had to get my car towed. Its not worth it. Don't go here.

DO NOT get your oil changed at Rj's! I went there for a routine oil change. The middle eastern guy told the best oil for my Audi was 15W40 I assumed he knew what he was talking about since he should know everything oil. Come to find out later that it is diesel oil and should never be in a gasoline engine. I went back because my car began idling badly and the guy with the beard said the oil had nothing to do with it and he would change the oil at my cost. Please do yourself a favor and find any other place to except Rj's.

I took my car to Rj's to have the serpentine belt changed. In the process my coolant sensor was broken. I have returned to the shop several times to talk to the manager, but he is never there. He has not returned my phone calls and ,based on other reviews, probably won't. This is not a trustworthy establishment, and I would highly recommend avoiding it.

Horrible, horrible horrible. This company has a sister company in Canton as well. I took my son's car there to fill up the oil so that I could drive it to a Top Value in Livonia (which is a great shop by the way) to have an oil leak repaired. They talked me into letting them take it up to their Waterford location. Ingoring my instructions they drove it there on the expressway and burned up the engine. Then they failed to notify about this but still quoted the other repairs which were almost what the car was worth. I asked the service guy if he thought the car was worth fixing as the cost was equal to what I paid for the car and he said yes it would have a year warranty and everything else looked good. Again, he ommitted that they destroyed the engine so I authorized the repair. Once they had my credit card safely in hand and ran it for payment, they told me about the engine being burned out and said that was the way they received it. I went back and forth with them, caught them in mulitple lies. At one point the owner agreed to fix the car and then went back on his word. I am taking them to court now. Avoid this place at all costs. They just want your money and are not looking to build honest long term relationships.
