Sehia's African Hair Braiding

If I could give them a O I would . The people that work here are rude and inconsiderate , I will NEVER GO BACK . There's a dark skinned woman that works there she's very rude impatient and very very mean.. She doesn't give you a chance to tell her what you want . She just wants ur money . Shes very lazy she doesn't like to work . I suggest you go to flokay or aminas . I had Senegalese twists and they were trying to mess up my hair and laughing at me . these people don't care .

Let me begin by stating that I've never had box braids, or twists of any kind. My reason for getting them is that I am pregnant and don't want to have to worry about my hair while caring for a newborn. That aside, I chose this place due to the most recent review and they aren't far from my home. I called and made an appointment several days in advance. My appointment was for Monday, they open at 8:30a but I was told over the phone to be there at 8a. My husband dropped me off so that he could take our daughter to school... The door is locked! I knock and after several minutes I call. The lady I made the appointment with answers the phone and I tell her I'm here and that I'm standing outside. 10m go by of me standing in the cold and I call her back only for her to tell me that she isn't there and she doesn't know where the other lady is but she should be there soon. 10m later a lady walks up with a nasty demeanor (as if I'm the problem. When I walk in I'm greeted by an intense smell of mildew and filth. She seems even more upset and begins cleaning her station. After another 15m she's finally ready, I temive my scarf and she tells me that my hair is too short. It took everything in me not to call this woman everything but a child of God. Mind you I big chopped back in October its February and I'm pregnant so I've got a good 7 inches of hair, she was just lazy. I told her not a problem, gathered my things and said I'll be going to the shop on Hamilton Ave. This establishment is very un professional and lazy and will never get business from me. Ive been going to Sehia's for years and also take my daughter's....never had a problem with them
