Alterra Pest Control

So far, I have had 7 properties treated by Rober LeBlanc. I am VERY pleased with the service he has provided. The tenants at the properties have been very positive about his customer service and attitude. All service requests have been answered and handled in a very timely manner.
I will continue to use Alterra Pest Control because of Robert's wonderful service. I look forward to doing business with them in the future!!

Always came to service when scheduled, but when called to change address when moving and to schedule service at our new home, they would not answer their phone. They had called me back, but I was at work and not able to answer. After work, I called back and got the same answer recording. I have called back three times and left messages and no return in phone calls. I hope I am able to cancel service because their website does not list an address to send a letter of cancellation, only a phone number and no one will answer their phone or return phone calls to cancel. This is horrible service! Get it together Alterra!

Worst service ever. Do not bother. yes they would come back to redo the job if you are not satisfied with the service, the problem is that you will never be satisfied with the service the first time it is done so you always have to call them back for a follow up visit. they would come to your house the first time do a "sort of" thorough treatment because it is the first time. Then after that it is just a joke. for $90 they would come spray for 5 minutes max and go, no removal of spider webs, no pesticide granules on your lawn for grubs,insects...etc. none. be ready for a lot of no shows. if you still decide to go with them MAKE SURE YOU ARE THERE WHEN THEY COME AND FOLLOW THEM EVERYWHERE if you want your money's worth. otherwise you are just wasting your money. plus all the chemicals they use you can get online for a lot cheaper than 350 bucks a year just do some research. i referred several people and i am going to tell them to cancel their accounts as well.

Bad service. Forcing treatments not in the contract and insisting the contract they gave us was false. Missed a treatment and we had to buy products to do the service they should be doing and then expected us to pay monthly for that month. No reschedules or calls. Bad costumer service, it's hard to reach them and are absolutely rude. Don't do business with them and should be filed with bbb for breaching their contract because they're unable to do the job they signed up for.



They responded and refuses to do the last treatment but asks for $48 of payment mailed to them. Seriously? A business that's incapable of fulfilling their own service. I hope people will see the recent posts and avoid making the same mistake.

If there is a zero star, I would give them that. Every single services they provided, I still saw spiders and other bugs/insects in my house. They kept using the same product inside the house and expect me to pay them quarterly and regardless if it's working or not. They said if I would see anything spiders/etc., I just would need to call them and the would come to do another spray for free. The first time I called, they did not respond in 10 days. I had to called a second time to followup with them before they actually responded. Now, I called them again early on Monday and left them a message with my name, phone and address, they have not responded yet. I just call a second one during their business hours around 4pm and left another message. I can't wait to finished my contract with them. If you have never been in services or about to sign a contract with them, think as long as you can before you sign it.

Raoul Martinez with Alterra Pest Control came to my residence today to spray for pest control. He spent extra time & patience sweeping the eaves, porch & patio before spraying. My dog ran out & he cautioned me to take her inside while spraying & he was extremely polite & professional. I hope he will always be assigned to take care of my home. He is a great ambassador for Alterra Pest Control & treated my property as if it was his own. Thank you very much. Awesome employee.

My first service was great. My husband and I had just bought our home last summer from people who didn't take very good care of it so wanted to make sure we got pest control services just to be safe. The guy came out and was very thorough and was here awhile . Since then it is terrible!and honestly just a nightmare! The girls answering the phones were rude when I would call for callbacks, I had started noticing spiders more often that we never saw before so kept calling for call backs and eventually never got calls returned after leaving multiple messages. Office manager refused to get on the phone. Don't show for appointments set up. Never can get them to answer phones for these free callbacks. Stay as far away as possible the nice special they run to get you locked in is not worth it! !!

Sales and first two services ... awesome. Now I'm having to call because they are 30 days behind, scheduling another week out and can't tell me when they will be here. From Best in Class Service to Worst in Class service in 180 Days.

Victoria was a very professional and knowledgable person. She made the experience pleasurable and explained, in detail, how the coverage of my home will work.

Dorian came to my house this AM and sprayed my yard! Such a warm and personable gentleman! I have always had great services from your company since we started! I told Dorian we were putting our house up for sale because we want to downsize our property size! We have been here 23 yrs. and have enjoyed every moment! We would like to keep your service once we find where we will establish a home. I will also pass on your name to new residence that will love our home as much as we did! Thank you Dorian you are great! There are some new residence that have moved in to the neighborhood, so go get them! Good luck!

This company send a person to my door which misrepresented himself telling me that they were offering a free pest control and that indeed it to pay only , $53.00 and try it to start for 3 more services They told me that if I did not like it I could cancel anytime if I was not satisfied. After that initial pest control that did not take care of the ants in my bathrooms and the wasp in the back porch , I decided to not hire them again. When I call them they insisted to send me another person over, I told them that I did not want the service and that the person that made I talk to initially told me that if I did not want the service if I was not satisfied to call them. I must say that it was my mistake to trust someone at the door . However I have been in numerous calls to this company I am convinced that they must keep they're clients agains they're will because the company does not provide the service and the claims that they do. This was a total misrepresentation and abuse in they're part.

Jose Trevino came by this morning for my quarterly service - did an excellent job of spraying inside and out, as well as spreading the yard. Took precautions with my cat. Jose is very professional and friendly and I'm so glad I switched to Altera! Kay G

Mickiela Wiley from Alterra was very professional and friendly, had no problem going in the yard with the dogs. She also explained the areas she treated and the pests that would be affected. Excellent service!

I used Alterra today and I was very pleased with their service. Jose Trevino was my service tech. He sprayed my foundation, granulated my yard and swept my eaves. He also took care of four wasps nests that were in my eaves. He was very thorough. I highly recommend Alterra.

This was my first service appointment with Alterra, and they definitely started off on a good foot. Erick Frias did a fantastic job. He was on time, very professional, and courteous. He explained everything to me in detail and made sure all my questions were answered. Great Job!! --Robert D
