I brought my car here because ...

I brought my car here because my car was making squeaking sound when brakes are pushed. The owner (an old man) told me it is the rotors that are bad as well as the brakes. He quoted me for $254 to pay for labor and rotors. The brakes had lifetime warranty from AutoZone so they give a new one for me. After my car was done I started noticing vibrations when braking at 65 MPH in freeway. The vibration continued to get worse. It got so worse that the car could not stop very fast even at 45 mph. I brought my car back and they said they changed the rotors and they are ok and the lower control arms in suspension are broken. This was a new issue because it didn't exist before I brought my car for services here. They quoted me for $950 to fix the defect $810 for parts and $140 for labor. I bought the parts from Checker auto parts for $200 and when I brought back the car with the parts I bought, for them to fix, they said they will charge me $157 for labor. I asked for discount because we always brought our cars here for emission and services and recently I have paid them for 3 services but they denied. So I said I am not going to have them replace the part. As I was leaving the shop they told me that they were doing me a favor for bringing the parts from another store because they only use parts they buy themselves and that is made in America. They told me the parts I have is “Chinese” and it is bad. I told them I don't trust American parts and there is no way this part is made in America and he told me to "go back to your country" I was really offended by what he said and left the shop. I leave it for bbb to deal with this. Also when they did the oil change in my car they didn't clean the compartment where they drain the oil from and now when I drive my car I smell burning oil and smoke coming out from my car. I am very disappointed from their service and this is my last time I will trust someone this much. How is it justifiable to sell someone a part that cost $100 for $405? Just because my hair is black and I am not native they thought I don't know anything and they could charge whatever they want. Their service is a scam and I am sure so many other people are complaining about this business. Please avoid this place at any cost. They want you to keep coming back and therefor fixes one thing and breaks another.

I went in to get my car saftey...

I went in to get my car saftey inspected. I asked the Guy how long it would take he told me 15 minutes. I sat down as the cranky old man (Owner?) behind the counter made for of a customer that came in when she walked away. Then 35 minutes later I asked the Cranky old man behind the counter if my car was done yet. It had been sitting there done for 10 minutes. I told the man his customer service wasn't great, then he told me there was nothing wrong with his customer service there was something wrong with the customer. I Strongly urge you not to pay them for their terrible service.

After having my car for an ent...

After having my car for an entire day and charging me $200 to replace a $20 part that takes 15 minutes to put in, my car still wouldn't start the next day. I had to have it towed somewhere else where they told me they were unable to diagnose it, and also that the part that had been replaced at First Choice had been put in backwards!!! When I called them back to tell them this, they said there was no way the part could have been put in backwards and refused to compensate me in any way. I told him I would leave a bad review on every website I could think of and he was VERY rude and said he would sue me if I did that! I asked him on what grounds and he hung up on me. I'll be filing a complaint with the BBB. Don't take your car here!! They lure you in with their $17.99 oil change but they do schotty work and have HORRIBLE customer service. They are only getting a 1 star rating because they won't let me give a 0 star rating. I hope all the business he will lose over my reviews is worth keeping my $200.

Poor Service

I took my car in to get emissions and inspection. The worker I believe his name was Saul was very nice and took my keys and told me to that I could wait inside. I went inside and realized that I needed to call my girlfriend to let her know that I would be a little late. I don't have a cell phone so I asked the older gentleman (owner?) at the counter if he had a phone I could borrow. He said he did not (there were 2 wireless landline phone sitting right next to him). I asked if he know of any pay phones near his business. He gave me some talk about how nowadays there are no pay phones. I told him thanks for the help and I will go somewhere else. I walked out side and told Saul thanks but I will not be needing his help since the guy inside would not let me use the phone. I would not recommend them because of the aweful customer service I received. I know that they do not have to let customers use the phone, but come on. It costs them nothing, and at the very least is helpful to another human being.
