All my life I have absolutely feared going to the dentist. After going to Lakeshore I have changed my mind somewhat. Dr. Layton and his staff are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Layton does quality work. As long as I live in Osceola County I will remain a patient of Lakeshore Dental Care.

I had just experienced the most wonderful , pain free dental examination and treatment of a rather severe infection and when it was all over, I walked out with a new mind set. Because of Dr. Layton's reassurance, skill and marvelous techniques, my dental work resulted in three beautiful crowns and I am continuing with more improvements. When once I was hesitant to smile, I now smile all the time! I feel blessed that this wonderful, gifted man crossed my path and I will be forever grateful to him. Aside from the wonderful dental work he has been performing in my sorely neglected mouth, I was and remain totally impressed with his entire staff. They were helpful, courteous, pleasant, professional and made me feel so very much at ease. They all made that I imagined would be a horrid experience a most pleasant one. Now, I can honestly say I am no longer afraid and I owe that wonderful, secure feeling to Dr. Layton. In the future, I know I'm actually going to look forward to my dental visits as long as Dr. Layton is on the opposite side of that dental chair. Thank you, Dr. Layton and staff.

Very unhappy. I was told I had to pay for my first visit out of pocket for $91.00 when I arrived for my appointment. They said they could not submit to my insurance since this was my first visit. Reluctantly, I agreed since I was already there and took off work early for this emergency appointment.
After the Dentist saw me and determined what needed to be done immediately, his Office Mgr. came in and told me I would have to pay for the entire work out of my pocket (which was a sizeable sum) and submit to my insurance. I proceeded to ask her what was my dental insurance for, if they could not submit for payment. I would have paid any co-pays due at that time. I will advise all my friends, co-workers and associates of their policies. They should advise you of their policies before you make an appointment and not waste your time and money!!
Make sure you find out their arrangements well in advance and don't get caught in a bind like I did. I wasted time off from work and now have to go through this process again with another dentist.
