This California museum is the state capital and home of the official California Hall of Fame, this museum highlights the state's history, arts and culture through permanent exhibits, including California Indians it making a difference, to california's remarkable Women, Health Happens, and Uprooted! Japanese Americans during WWII, with 6-8 temporary exhibits annually.

Public Transportation: The Museum is located at the Archives Plaza Light Rail stop. Amtrak is a convenient alternative to driving for many out-of-town visitors in Northern California. Passengers may take Sacramento Regional Transit’s Light Rail to the Archives Plaza stop listed above, which is a 12 block ride on the Gold Line from the train station at 4th and I St.

Overall

Just went for the first time. Had to see the peanuts exhibit, and it didn't disappoint. Have a lot of great nostalgic exhibits from landmarks around Sacramento.
