Do not ever use this company.
Thrifty moving is a fraud from the beginning. The binding quote was 60% lower than money billed, truck was day late, and I have been waiting 3 weeks for my items and I am STILL waiting. The phone numbers have Spanish recordings and emails are not returned. I reported my items stolen because at this point I have no idea when or where about my possessions.

These guys were fantastic from the start. They were polite, professional, efficient and very patient, with 2 women who were squawking at them along the way. When we added another stop to the move, they quickly assured us it was no trouble. I will definitely recommend them and use them in the future.

I'm pretty outspoken about the business I've used over the years and Thrifty Moving and storage has always done an outstanding job for us.

My brother-in-law said that this is the only company I should consider if I want a good and affordable moving. Arrived earlier than expected, but that was a good thing, fast work and honest, didn't try to pack slow like some moving companies who keep the meter rolling. Best price hands down, will use again in the future. Would recommend to anyone.

Moved within the same town. Furniture only no boxes. Both guys were very professional and helpful. Took apart furniture and re-assembled with no problems. Worked very well together. experience with this company was excellent.

Just a short note to thank you and your colleagues for handling our move last week. In overall terms things went pretty well and we were impressed with the way in which team dealt with matters (especially the removal of the piano which proved to quite a challenge)

thrifty Movers were available to schedule movers for my desired date despite calling two days before I was moving. They were also the cheapest option.I was very pleased with the service.

By far the best move we have ever had! We highly recommend thrifty movers. They have the combination of being efficiently fast and very careful. They have an attitude of helpfulness. We had to make an extra stop to pick up a dining room set, and they were happy to do that. Usually it is uncomfortable to have movers around, but the spirit of helpfulness and professionalism made these guys exceptionally comfortable

I was UNABLE TO GIVE IT 0 STARS so 1 it shall be!

This company is absolute garbage, they oversell you over the phone, and once they have your business it all goes downhill. Please don't get it confused, THEY are not a full service moving company, we recently moved from Texas to Colorado and used them, so we have FIRST HAND experience with this company. They use CHEAP temp labor (Labor Ready to be exact and none of our TEMPS spoke ENGLISH) to unload and unpack your items, numerous items were broken; this is where it gets even worse, we were then advised that the "full coverage" is actually $.60 per lb., which is NOTHING. They also billed us an extra 3% for using a credit card when it was them who asked for a credit card payment. BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS OF THIS COMPANY, do not make the mistake we made, this was an all-around HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. NIKKI the sales person does a phenomenal job of selling you, YES SHE DOES, Stephanie who seems to be some kind of manager is probably the owner. They will give you every excuse in the book and put everything in fine print. Technically in Texas your word is bond, but they bank on the fact that most people will not even bother with the trouble of taking them to court or even dealing with them after the fact. Our items were due to arrive on Tuesday; we were then told (after having to track them down) that they have a 7 day window to deliver; who in their right mind would agree to this??? Again, NIKKI sold us on everything; they failed on all angles of their promises. We learned this the hard way and are to this day having to deal with getting refunded erroneous fees and working with CSI, their online insurance and claim center...I'm sure this will be yet another lengthy and drawn out process. Of course, why should Thrifty care; they got their money! We plan on contacting local Dallas media and the BBB as well. I'm sure they'll just change their names and reopen under a new entity. They did not even own their own trucks..I should've realized then that this company was shady, they pulled up in what looked like trucks purchased at an auction with cheap little stickers with their name on them. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE! You all notice I'm not hiding, my real name is shown as is my face! This is real, this is a horrible company! Thank Social sites like Google that give us the opportunity to express and provide REAL feedback.

Such a life savor!!!! I have to admit I was really amazed at the level of customer service that I received with Thrifty. I was originally going to go with another company until I found out at the last minute that there was a mistake with the other movers leaving me without. In a desperate attempt to find someone asap I called Thrifty. I was able to get everything set up hassle free and felt they went above and beyond to make sure everything went as smooth as possible. Thank you Thrifty Movers & Storage you are the best!

I was recently offered a position with a company which also meant that I was going to be moving states away form Dallas to Chicago to be exact. After receiving some quotes and meeting with a few different moving companies I found myself in great hands with Thrifty Moving & Storage. I was really nervous about the move since I only had a few weeks to get everything in order. However, thrifty assured me that everything would be taken care of and it was. The crew was very careful with my belongings and everything arrived on time as promised. I am very pleased with this company and would highly recommend them to anyone.
