Dogwood Animal Clinic

I took my 11 year old French bulldog for her 1st visit to the Animal Medical Clinic yesterday where she was seen by Dr. Stevens. I passed by several other clinics because of the bad reviews I had read. I'm glad I went the extra miles. I was impressed by Dr. Stevens, and my dog liked him too. He was calm, unhurried, and thorough. His treatment plan was logical and conservative - no need for surgery at this time. I felt that Dr. Stevens honestly had my dog's best interests at heart. The fees were very reasonable. The staff was great. I am relieved to have found the right place for my dog's medical care.

Just got back from my first visit there with my dog and it was a great experience. Dr. Berrish was great with Bristol and took his time...Gave ME the options on treatment to maybe avoid costly X-rays that we might not need as of yet. This Is definitely my new Place of choice to go...Other reviews that were very positive is why I went in the first place and they were correct. They also are very reasonable on their pricing so far. I'm a firm believer in checking out reviews before I go to place like this and wish more people would do so...Hope it was helpful. The staff was amazing. Dr. McDonald worked within our budget and was able give our "piper" the fighting chance she needed. We drove almost 4 hours because we read all the good things about her and her staff. If anyone says anything negative about how her or her staff runs their practice, they need to join the rest of us here on earth.

I ask you this, would you rather have a doctor that rushes you through, and looks at your pet like a number....or spend the time to have a Dr. That looks at you pet as a family member and give you all the options?

Dr. McDonald is the most compassionate wonderful animal loving person I've ever meet. Not only did she explain every step of the process, she treat my families pet like her own. When we had to finally put him down....she made us feel like she was part of our family as apart of the process. Thank you so much Dr. McDonald for showing compassion, love, and understanding.

Dr. Stevens and his staff are caring, gentle, and highly knowledgeable. I would not take my forever friend anywhere else. You can trust them to tell you the truth and give honest, caring information.
