MINT dentistry - Plano

I went to this office to get a root canal done. The dentist Dr. Shin, who was performing the surgery, went through the rig amore of getting me numb and trying to do the surgery 4 times before she came to the conclusion that it was a hot tooth. Which simply means that the infection in the tooth was fighting against the numbing medicine. I was so confused because they took x-rays before she tried to perform the procedure and you can obviously see that I had an infection. She told me since surgery couldn't be performed today that I need to get antibiotics for 10 days and come back for the surgery. I decided to not go with this dentist or company and chose a different provider. I also so felt like it did NOT have to take 4 attempts to tell me this information. They not only stated that they were going to charge my insurance 1,400 dollars for something that was not done but stated that my benefits would be used all up. They actually charged me 1,800 for a claim the doctor didn't even complete. I am more than furious with how I was not only treated but disappointed in the fact that a care provider can't practice with integrity. The pain and suffering that I have been dealing with was no concern for this establishment and I see now that they just wanted my money. I am in the process of disputing this claim and I advise not one person to attempt this company or any other Mint Dentistry in TEXAS!!!!
