I'm trying to be objective here.



Cost - This is the only reason I am here. Large bang for your buck if you like amenities. I paid several years in full and now renew at price that feels like robbery, but it barely compensates for all the other issues. To get that selection of resistance training, cardio equipment, volleyball, racquetball, and other services is amazing.



Employees - It's like they hand select the dumbest and/or narcissistic people they can find. The sales staff makes used car salesmen look ethical. They tend to last 3 months before they quit or get fired/transferred. The operations staff is borderline retarded. In fairness, sometimes they are just drugged up and not very smart. One such winner (with an ICP tattoo no less) thought it would be funny to spray my $20 racquetball glove with cleaning spray. He still doesn't understand why I was upset. The same person waved his dirty broom over my open container of pre-workout powder and started laughing.



Another winner, still working there, literally talks the entire day. When he's not doing that he's hugging and otherwise harassing women. He's very awkward, and possibly challenged, but I can't overlook this because the gym is absolutely disgusting. Any amount of management of this facility would change that.



The operations manager (the current one, who should last 6-12 months given the turnover), is quite nice. She will insist that she will call you back and/or solve your problem. About 20-30 follow ups later the problem was finally solved. Interesting strategy.



Cleanliness - dirtiest commercial gym I've ever been to. Comparatively Planet Fitness and YouFit you can eat off their floors. There seems to be at least 1mm thickness of dust and detritus on some equipment. The mats and courts often turn towels black if you attempt to clean them.



I can't see any reason for this atrocity to continue unless they are doing this on purpose. Like I said, it's like they hire or train their employees for this outcome. I guess there is some evil mathematical formula they have for profits.



-Charge a moderate price

-Hire the cheapest scum they can

-Spend the least money allowed by law

-Buyout LIfestyle Family Fitness (their only major competitor)

-$$$Profit$$$
