Overall

Been going to this practice for10 years and have seen three different Doctors for different problems and they have all been the finest and most professional doctors you can trust for the care you need. Dr Bonenberger has done several operations on me and never had any problems he's the best.

The other day I went to the Orlando Orthopaedic Center for a sprained ankle. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Funk and his staff. Once I entered the office, I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff and was checked in for my appointment. After sitting for just a few minutes, I was brought back by Dr. Funk’s staff for my appointment. I informed the nurse how I sprained my ankle and the amount of pain I’ve been in. Then we discussed some of my medical history. I had sprained the same ankle when I was a teenager playing softball. I was in an air cast for a week. Because of this previous injury, I was concerned about the amount of time I would have to be off my ankle this time. I have a very active two year old son.

After I was finished with my discussion with Dr. Funk’s nurse, she left the room, and Dr. Funk entered shortly after she walked out. He examined my ankle and tested my range of motion.

Luckily, I have a great family support system and have people that can help me with my son. Trying to keep my off my feet as much as possible with a two year old is a very hard task. Thanks to the excellent care of Dr. Funk and the staff at Orlando Orthopaedic Center I am on the road to recovery and look forward to running around with my son again soon!

Beware, I would not take a dog here. They do not even deserve 1 star. My first experience with this group was 22 yrs ago when they operated on my spine. The doctor woke me and told me it was the worst he has ever seen in his years and asked me if I could feel anything from the waist down. In his office a few weeks later when I told him I was still having problems he said it was all in my head and sent me to a psychiatrist. Probably because I was a workers comp case. Now I was sent to them again for an Independent Medical Exam by an insurance adjuster after 2 car accidents. The doctor took a few xrays looked at me and wrote a report saying I was fine, no further treatment needed. I am glad I pursued this with another doctor, who took an MRI. Every disc in my neck was herniated and has tears and ruptures. This group is clearly in the Insurance companies pocket and has little regard for the patient. They do not even rate 1 star in my humble opinion

DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR! Befor...

DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR!

Before going to this doctor, I did my research and found mixed reviews, but due to insurance reasons, I had no choice. A BIG mistake! My back is now worse than before the surgery. This doctor does not care, will drain your bank account, and leave you hanging in pain. I would NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone!
