After reading the reviews about Dr. Sheikh I was very hesitant to keep my appointment. I was referred by my family physician so, I decided to see him
When I walked in the office I was immediately greeted with a warm smile and a heartfelt hello by a competent, organized receptionist. After a short wait I was taken to the back and was asked questions about my health history. I had never experienced such a thorough discovery of my past and current health issues ever in a doctor's office. After about a 15-minute wait Dr Sheikh entered the room and also asked me questions and did a physical examination. Afterwards, Dr. Sheikh explained to me what his professional opinions were of my health issues that was followed up by a clear explanation of what tests he wanted done to confirm his suspicions . Dr.Sheikh answered all my questions and I found him to be a genuinely caring, easy to talk to and I felt his passion for helping his patients to feel better. Two of the tests were done in his office by his staff that were also professional, comforting and thorough.
That evening after leaving Dr. Sheikh's office it was the first time in weeks that I had a good nights sleep now knowing that my care was in the hands of such a knowledgeable, professional physician.
Everything that I had read in the reviews is so unfounded. It saddens me to think of all the people out there that are missing Dr. Sheikh's ability to make them better because of untruths reported by disgruntled patients. Perhaps these are patients only looking for pain medications for their addictions. Lastly, the office is not dirry as what i read in a review alrhough, the office could use some redecorating but honestly I could care less about the color of the walls!
