Extremely professional, fairly priced, punctual, thorough, friendly service, and took the time to educate me on the problem to prevent it from happening again or worsening. Got an appointment same day as my call. Truly a 5 star experience; would HIGHLY recommend!!

We had an excellent experience with Tavares. The guys were extremely professional and made the process of diagnosing and fixing the issue so quick and seamless. When we called it in, we got the appointment that day, and they came exactly when they said they would. We have an old house, so we usually get people trying to make the issue bigger than it is, but these guys identified the issue, got the parts needed, and fixed it right away. We will continue to use this company and recommend them to friends and family.

Called Mr. Tavaras, "Jose", at 8:30 a.m. and he called back within the hour setting up an appointment between 11-1 p.m. He arrived at 10:45. He was very polite and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem and also recommended adding a hard start kit to prevent strain on the unit for upstairs. We will be using him in the future!

My 25+ year old central ac finally stopped working on a 95 and humid Sunday morning. Made a call to Jose of Tavares HVAC...and he was at my house in a little over 1 hour....did I mention it was Sunday!! Anyway, Jose got right to work and diagnosed the problem - new fan motor and starter capacitor, added freon and cleaned the coils. Unit is back up and running and house is cooling down nicely. Jose is professional, honest and trustworthy! I would definitely recommend Tavaras HVAC for your heating and cooling needs. 5 Stars!!

I called Jose with an AC issue on one of the hottest days of the year and he did not hesitate to make an appointment to fit my schedule. Jose and his team were very professional and worked hard to try and resurrect my old AC unit. Once all options were exhausted it was determined that a new unit was needed. He was very timely and knowledgeable and installed the new unit ASAP. Very easy to do business with.

Jose came to my house within 2 hours of calling him. My AC unit was not working and we were told it needed to be replaced. Jose was able to come and FIX my unit! Furnace smelled like something was burning and soot was building around the furnace. Found Tavares HVAC on Yellow Pages and filled out the request form on their website. Within in 15 minutes got a call from Jose. They said they'll be @ my house in 35-45 minutes, and they were.

A friend of mine recommended Jose to me. I discovered mold in my A/C ducts. I called Jose at 3 pm on a Saturday and he came right over. The following day, he replaced the ducts and fully explained why I had mold. Very professional, responsive and a good guy. No more green and blue trucks for me. Jose is my new HVAC Guy hand down.

I called Jose to fix my compressor which had stopped working. He arrived five minutes earlier and found the problem to be the capacitor which he replaced. We also had other minor work which took him about half and hour to fix. Strangely, he only charged me for the air conditioning work. I was highly impressed by his honesty and that zeal to go the extra mile for the customer- a commodity missing in majority of contractors who serve central Jersey. I gave him extra money for his work and being such a nice guy. Highly recommended!

Jose came out to my house the same day (and I called around 5:30 at night) to fix my air conditioner unit. He came over and got my A/C unit running and explained the problem in a thorough manner. He also performed a furnace start-up for me as well. Very professional service, friendly, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Tavares HVAC for all of your heating and cooling needs.

Excellent work and Customer Service - Jose responded my call and quickly came over the same day and fixed my A/C unit in timely manner. He took enough time to explain me the problem being very patience. He also did courtesy check for my HVAC unit and help me run unit more efficiently. I read all the great reviews and now I know why there are so many. Jose quickly called me back and within an hour he was at our house diagnosing the problem. He explained everything in great detail and was very thorough as he troubleshooted the problem. He then fixed the problem and explained all possible scenarios that could occur on our system.I'm happy to say that it's working great ! We know the system is on borrowed time and most companies would just tell us the system needs to be replaced but thanks to Tavaras hvac we now have a little breathing room until we're ready to replace it. It's nice to know their are still some honest guys out there. AND, his prices are more then fair. What more could you ask for ? Jose is one of the good ones ! Thanks again ! Tom F.

Called Tavares today and got my Heating unit issue resolved..

The technician came in, quickly identified the issue and got out in no time. Very reasonable charge, friendly and explained me clearly the technical issue before fixing the problem.

I will for sure call them for regular maintenance going forward.

I just recently had Tavares do work on my home AC unit. Jose was able to come out promptly. He was very professional and was able to fix the problem quickly. This was a second opinion on a problem and in the end I was very happy I called. Great service and would definitely recommend.
