Dr. Azar has been so wonderful and kind. Dental work has always been incredibly stressful and painful in the past and Dr. Azar has been nothing but patient and gentle. I'm very grateful for finding Montclair South Dental and will continue to come!

The best decision I made choosing this dentist!

I went in as a new patient and left knowing i'll be a long time patient. The receptionist, dental hygienist and the dentist were friendly and professional. I went for just a cleaning and pain, but they took so much time with me and I left feeling better. I'll be bringing my husband in as well. If you are looking for a great experience, please go to them.

Pleasant, Smart, Pricey, but Worth it!

I love that she broke down each step of what was going to be done in order to achieve the perfect smile. Doctors in the past would just go at my mouth, ask me to pay and that's it. I like to understand what is going on and she did that for me. She was also very pleasant along with Elizabeth who did my cleaning. I love the text message based system, everything is great! It's just a little expensive but quality work is going to cost you.

Fillings
According to archaeological findings, for as long as dental problems have existed, there have been efforts to provide emergency and restorative care. In fact, attempts to place dental fillings have been found in the skeletal remains of people who lived around the year 8000 BC. Crowns
In certain cases porcelain inlays/onlays are used as alternative restorations to amalgam or tooth colored fillings. Porcelain inlays/onlays are individually fabricated pieces designed to precisely fit the excavated and prepared area of a tooth that has been damaged by decay or other injury. While an inlay is used to restore the central portion of a back tooth, an onlay is a larger restoration that extends out over one or more cusps of the tooth.
