I went on here an seen all these reviews about prostar an was kinda iffy about going ..then learned they actually just opened this year and the last people didn't do good work I went in had my manual transmission rebuilt and clutch replaced an they fixed my drivshaft for free which was what originally started the problem..great service an had it back in like a day an a half

I have had friends pay way too much money for work that was never done. Recent was a friend who brought in his truck for clutch replacement. Not only did they NOT put in a new clutch...they also put the old throw out bearings back in!!! Needless to say that it ended up costing him more in the long run to fix the "big mistake" performed by Precision. They should change the name to...We Only Care About Overcharging You For Work We Never Do or You Are Our Paycheck. There is nothing Precision about this place...I would not even give this place one star...but you gotta put something.

You had better save your money and go straight to Moaks Transmission.

After 1 year and approx. 5 trips back to the shop my car still needs a transmission. Two days after the warranty was up, they miraculously found th problem (a burned out torque clutch). The reason for my taking it back the previous times was slipping transmission. The short guy (David), eye twitches real bad when explaining what happened, always told me it was fine. How do I file law suit?

These guys not only tore my transmission up. They created an electrical problem so that they can wiggle out of warranty and not have to fix it unless I pay again. Ready for law suit. I know a guy who won his lawsuit against them. $1800 Lesson!!!!
