Moaks Transmission & Air Conditioning

My Ford Explorer was having a problem after warming up with a hesitation when I would begin to accelerate after a stop. The engine would turn up about 300 rpms before the transmission would engage causing a hard engagement of the whole drive train, but shift normally after the initial engagement until the next time I stopped. Then it would do the same thing at every stop once I had warmed up the vehicle; the hotter the weather, the more it would hesitate to engage after a stop.

Took it in to Moak's Transmission and was called and told it was repaired in 2 days. They even brought me home when I dropped of the vehicle and picked me up to return my vehicle.l, since I had no other way to get around.
It now runs and shifts like a new vehicle.

There is a bunch of real hospitable and friendly staff that really know how to treat a customer and apparently know their business!

A few years ago I had my first dealings with Moak's Transmission. The transmission in my car had gone out. I took it to Moak's and within 2 days...they had my car up and running. The price was very reasonable as compared to other transmission repair shops. They call you when they start and keep you informed as to what the progress is. I am very well satisfied with this business. Currently...I have my truck there and they called and told me what they found and what needs to be done. In fact...they call you by your first name, treating you like old friends and not just another paycheck. I highly recommend Moak's to any and everybody!!!!!
