Pep Boys

Last year around this time of year, I was stranded on Lincoln Hwy and Cicero in the parking lot of some trip mall. Being from the North side of Chicago I had absolutely no idea what to do but ask around for help. I called several places, including two tow truck services that basically stated they couldn't get to me to help figure out what was wrong with my car until after two hours or so from the time I called. I was so upset cause I knew no one in that area. So I called Pep Boys and Mike answered. I let him know the situation I was in being unsure of my whereabouts and what was wrong with my car. He volunteered to come to where I was at and assist me. I waited no longer than 10 minutes from the time I called when he arrived and he immediately figured out what was wrong with my car, apparently my driver side back tire was loose and I was driving on the highway like that. :'( He went back to work to get the necessary tools he needed to fix the problem. I was completely grateful for his customer service and willingness to assist me when I really needed it the most. Now-A-Days, I'm more familiar with the area due to my employment in the surrounding area and need some repairs to be done to my car and I completely did not hesitate to call upon Mike.



Customer Service is very important to me. I feel if I work hard for my money, I would like to be treated a certain way when I chose to spend my money at any location, whether it be a restaurant or an auto service store. I was able to get that on that day, and sometimes you just have to be grateful for people who are willing to go that extra mile to show they care, even if its just to tighten a loose tire, LOL!
