Animal Hospital Of Martinsville

I took my dachshund in after he had been attacked by another dog. They shaved him down, put medicine on him, gave him shots and told me to keep a close eye one him if I was going to take him home. He started throwing up after I got him home that night. I called the after hours line and they met me back at the office and ran blood work to check for any and all problems. They ended up having to do surgery due to kidney failure. THey had to keep him about 10 days after that nursing him back to health. All this happened to be over Thanksgiving and the following week. They were wonderful with my baby. If it hadn't been for them, I would have lost him. I can't thank them enough.

My daushand was very sick and I took her to this vet they gave her some fluids and a couple shots of antiboctics never once did they take blood work or do any xrays and they sent her home only for her to get worse as the night went on so I called them after hours which they dont have a after hour service so I had to drive her 45 miles to a animal hospital that was open 24hrs and they did full blood work and xrays and told me what she had and to call my vet the next day which I did and they wanted to do the same as the vet hopsital did and charge me again. Well we loss my daushand which I blame them if they would have done something when I took her to them the first time we could have saved her now I dont have my baby girl and Im out over 500.00 dollars.
