My laser hair removal has been such a wonderful experience. Everyone I have had do my treatment has been so nice and helpful. I have nothing bad to say about any of it! I have enjoyed it so much and I plan to try out some of the other services offered at Indulgences!

First of all, I want to say that I have read a lot of the reviews below and wanted to say that A) I am not a disgruntled former employee (that seems to be a common excuse as to why bad reviews were left) and B) it seems like the person responding to all of these bad reviews, which I'm assuming is the owner/manager, should fix the reason why all of their customers are unhappy instead of leaving comments here. I am not here to bash the business; I am here to leave my honest review including the good and the bad.



I purchased laser hair removal/reduction, both through Groupon, for two separate areas: leg and underarm for six sessions each. I think I ended up spending around $300 for both areas, which is a complete steal compared to other places. The first time I went I was really nervous as I had some previous laser sessions of a different kind when I was younger that were extremely painful. Things will always hurt worse if you think they're going to hurt, as it was the case here. The technicial was very helpful and talked to me as she started turning the laser's intensity up. I became uncomfortable at a level four, which is what she told me. A week passed and I noticed my underarms were so smooth and I was very happy with the results. I think what they're doing here is turning their laser up on high for the first treatment only so you will see a good result and then turn it down to low for the rest of your treatments so you will have to keep buying more. This is my OPINION.



The next time I went back I was hoping to see the same person but I ended up seeing somebody that looked to be in their early twenties, which made me uncomfortable. If someone is weilding a laser to your skin you don't want them to be fresh out of school, you want them to have experience. I told the technician that I was fine if she turned the laser up on high and I was just being a wuss the first time. She ignored me. For the rest of my four treatments I saw a different tecnician every time and told her the same thing - " I am not seeing results. Could you please let me know what setting you have your laser on? Could you please turn it up so I could see better results?". I was ignored by every technican every time and none of my concerns were addressed. Honestly, I felt like I was rushed in and out with each appointment. It was almost like they needed to get me in and out of there ASAP while being as impersonable as possible to get on to the next person. My time, my money, or my business didn't feel valued here.



All in all, this is a beautiful place and all of the receptioninsts are warm and friendly, but the service they are selling (hair removal) just doesn't work and that's what you're paying for. I had hair removal at another place that was done at the same time and after five treatments I have seen at least an 80% reduction. At Body Indulgences I have maybe seen a 20% reduction in the same amount of sessions and time.

Don't waste your money here! I bought a Groupon for laser hair removal last summer...I really regret it now. The 'laser' is nothing more than an ultrasound machine that heats up. It did absolutely nothing for me. I completed two treatments with no results, after being told that I was a 'perfect candidate'. I figured I would finish the six treatments since I had already paid for them. I had an appointment scheduled for Monday, March 26th. I had to call to reschedule on Friday the 23rd. After being on hold for over five minutes trying to find another day, the receptionist got my information so she could call me back. I haven't heard back. This place has the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. I would definitely take my business elsewhere!

Unfortunately, this place is a horrible spa. The techs aren't treated properly, often scolded (in front of clients and employees) and talked down too. Something like that should take place in a private environment, not in the open for the public to see. I have called several times and asked for a certain therapist (who has worked on me before), only to be told that she isn't a therapist there, but a front desk girl. So, are they just allowing silly little girls to work on the public by putting a "licensed" tag in front of their name?! Doesn't seem appropriate, or lawful in my eyes. I have heard talks of therapists working on no or expired licenses - again, not appropriate or lawful. I never see the same faces when I come to visit. There are ALWAYS new therapists, techs, and front desk people. They are rude to customers, often slamming the phones down, while griping to the other girls about how hard their job is - not professional. Every single little girl at the front desk has no respect for customer service, or how to try and give it. The manager is constantly trying to offer "free" services to clients that get screwed over by booking errors. I, myself, have been offered NUMEROUS free services to compensate for the lack of customer service, only to be treated horribly by the check out girls because they think I should pay for my service. During a recent visit, I overheard one of the check out girls (while I was trying to check out) complain and yell about how she was going to start charging full price for missed appointments, even if the client didn't know about the cancellation policy (which is not told to us clients beforehand). For the most part, the therapists and techs are super sweet and don't get their due respect. It's sad to think that they are getting paid hourly and treated like crap.



RUN from this place! Don't give them your business. You'll only be treated like dirt and offered a bunch of "free" services. Take your business somewhere that DOES have great customer care and satisfaction! I ONLY gave a one star rating because I can't rate 0 or - stars...

horrible customer service

This place is horrible!!! really going downhill. I have been going for awhile and suddenly they can't keep their appointments and you have to reschedule. Has happened to me twice in two weeks. So, I tell them I am going to end my membership. I went up there to do just that and guess what, NO save attempt and they require a 30 day notice so, I am going to get charged one more time! Wow!, how is that for Customer service! Thank goodness I had only recently enrolled despite having gone their for months. Worse thing is, I am stuck with them until the packages expire too! Take my advice, go somewhere else!

Top Level Service! When there for laser treatment and these folks know how to treat a client and service her well. I was scared because of the pain my sister felt & I hate pain. This place is totally PAIN-FREE. No numbing creme because there is nothing to numb. 3 treatments later and I see the difference. The other people who work there really show they like their jobs. Can't wait to try other services there.

I went there last Saturday and the place is very nice and fency….the staff people made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome at the front desk …….I waited for a very long time over 30 min …….the front desk staff did not give me any eye contact nor letting me know anything like we are short of people or ….just something…..i had to get up and asked if I was going to get my service or not ……….As my rating I will say nice place but the staff does not have any customer service skills….

Hi Blue, this seems to be an odd review to me, but what the heck. Why not call the spa and talk to the manager to discuss your issue. Our protocol is to check on a client if a service provider is running late for a service, we want you to be happy. Please call the spa and ask for Mark our new manager, he will ensure you are taken proper care of.

This place has HORRIBLE customer service. I set up a couples massage for mine and my husband's anniversary. They cancelled on us 30 min before the appointment time and was unable to get us another appointment for 2 MONTHS!!!! When I asked for a refund, I was hung up on by the DIRECTOR of the company repeatedly. He refused to talk to me with respect, called me names, and was COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!! PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! THEY ARE COMPLETELY RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!! Save your money and go somewhere you will be respected!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand that you are upset that we had to cancel your massage. Our therapist was out for 1 full week with pneumonia. There was nothing we could do. I am aware of who you are and recall that we tried to offer you a complimentary massage plus refund your money. My director would never call someone names, he is probably the nicest guy anyone would ever meet. Being upset about a cancelled appointment is one thing, but slandering a business and lying about someone calling you names and not refunding your money is just completely uncalled for. My records indicate that you were refunded immediately. Again, I am truly sorry this happened to you, but life throws us curve balls sometimes, we are all human and doing the best we can. Telling lies is just not nice.
