I couldn't believe there was still an honest mechanic out there. Not only was he honest and friendly, he did OVER AND ABOVE to get my car ready for inspection and the road, and stuck to his very reasonable price. He is #1 in my book!

Very impressive service. Scott came out on Mother's Day, the job was more intensive than expected, he stayed until it was done. And the bill was affordable. This all saved my daughter's job. Next time she needs work done, we will be calling Scott.

Oh I can't say enough about Scott. Me and my daughter both had our cars break down with in a week of each car. My car was broke down on the side of I35. Scott came out on the side of the highway during rush hour traffic got my car started. He is very reasonable and he will do all he can to figure out what is wrong and if he doesn't know he will tell you instead of charging you for stuff you don't need.

For a single woman who has been taken advantage of numerous times by mechanics this is refreshing to find one I can trust.

I found Scott on the internet and called him because of all the great reviews. My Honda CRV died in Westport while drinking coffee at Broadway Cafe. I left it there over the weekend - Called Scott - on monday he met me at the car at 9:00am, diagnosed the problem, took out the starter, had it repaired, came back and put the repaired starter back in - the car started right up... charged me for the starter and labor - very reasonable price all around. Nice guy - great work. Thanks!!!

Had a problem with my car alarm which was preventing me from driving the car. Scott arrived and performed a de-install of the alarm system which allowed me to drive the car again. Good work and a reasonable price.

I am a college student who recently purchased a used car. As I was leaving for class my car would not start. A friend of mine suggested I try Scott's Mobile Mechanic. I called and within half an hour Scott was there and fixed an engine problem within 30 minutes in my driveway. He was prepared with all the necessary parts. I was impressed. Scott also gave me some tips on car issues that may come up concerning my car and how important each issue was as far as what could wait and what needed immediate attention. Was looking to save on a tow fee, so I found Scott on craigslist. Also called a few other mobile mechanics, but Scott sounded the most professional (and not like he just woke up like the other guys). Made an appointment for the next day, and he replaced my crank position sensor. Did a very complete job making sure that there were no other potential issues. Between saving on a tow, and his very reasonable rates, it is fair to say that he saved me at least $300...but probably more. Will be using him in the very near future for some work on my wife's car. Trustworthy Mechanic? An oxymoron right? Not in this case! We were told by another mechanic that either we had a blown head gasket or a cracked block in our truck. We found Scott on Craigslist and took the truck to him for a 2nd opinion. Approximately 72 hours later we have our 15 year old truck back in awesome running condition and guess what? It didn't have a blown gasket or a cracked block! Scott took the time to truly diagnose the problem instead of assuming what was wrong by the symptoms. I will be referring business to him consistenly!

Scott came to my house in Lenexa and replaced the starter on my Malibu. The shop down the street wanted $375 (plus a towing) but he did it for $110 and I was able to get to work on time. Some of the other mobile guys seemed kinda creepy but he was a very nice guy and got the job done pronto!,

I took my car in to Midas for a simple oil change and was told that my front brake pads were wearing thin and that I should have them replaced soon. After getting an estimate of over $400, which I could not afford. I called Scott's Mobile Mechanic referred to me by a friend who had used his services. I was very impressed with his work and the price he quoted me. I can say that I saved over $300 on front right and left brake pads with labor. My car is running wonderfully. Thank you Scott!
