I would recommend Scott to anyone who has car concerns in the KC area. In truth I've already recommended him. When I could hear my brakes needed work I took my car into a shop and got quoted above $1600 for new rotors, brake pads, a caliper, and hub bearing. Scott was able to save me over $1000 AND he explained what all the components were, what to expect, and even what he recommended for the next upkeep on my car. My car is definitely get up there in years so finding a mechanic that I trust to work on my car is amazing. The fact that he came to me was just icing on the cake. A mechanic who is trustworthy, competent, affordable, and comes to you? It seems too good to be true but it's not. I'll definitely be calling him the next time my car needs some work!

Very pleased with the work and knowledge divulged during and after the repair process to my vehicle. Scott was always willing to work through the difficulties of the process until the job was complete and charge a fair price. I will definitely be using Scott's services again in the future if a mechanical issues presents itself.

I needed a mechanic to repair my daughter's vehicle. I live out of state, so finding a reliable mechanic was extremely important to me. Scott fixed my daughter's vehicle the next day. I appreciated his timely response to the problem, and was grateful that he correctly repaired the problem the first time. He will be the mechanic I call again if we have more car problems.

Scott was great! Fourth of july I moved my cars to a neighboring vacant home drive way so that my children could do some fireworks. (Live on busy main street) went to move my cars back afterwards, 06 kia sedona woildnt start. I tried connections, checked battery, checked fuses, no sound so I knew it was my starter. Contacted scott and set up time to come work on it, weather acted up so the next day he was at my home fixing my starter ran to get part after he removed the old, brought it back and in half hour he had it back on. Deffinately not an easy change, up and over, and at a crazy angle, plus rotate it 180 degrees to get it in or out. But he did it great price for labor. And very personable guy. Thank you scott! Not loosing ur number.

My starter went out on my 2000 Impala on Friday after work. I called Scott over the weekend, he was available and set up to come take a look on Monday morning when it'd work for both of us. He showed up on time, took off my starter and got the warranty replacement at the Autozone down the street, and had the new one on -- all within 2 hours.



He was quite professional and went above and beyond by checking my fluids. Great price for the work. Would recommend to any and everyone. Thanks Scott!

Very pleased. Truck had a wheel bearing going out, while on freeway in Kansas city. Since I didn't have any tools and wasn't at home, I called up Scotts. Very helpful, came out, and we agreed to fix Saturday morning. He even drove me to a hotel and let me use a phone charger, since I left mine in the vehicle. Next morning, during huge thunderstorms, we found covered parking, and it was done in 1-1.5 hours. I was able to make it home. For someone like me who does lots of work and repairs myself, I would definitely recommend Scott for anyone.

I would like to say thank you to Scott's Mobile Mechanic. I had a car problem the evening before going to work at a new job. I called Scott and explained my situation that I needed my car repaired for my new job. He came to my home and diagnosed the problem as being with the starter. He got the necessary parts and had my car up and running the next morning for my afternoon job. I thank you so much Scott. It is so impressive that I called the evening before and he was there the very next morning and had my car ready to drive. He was courteous and extremely respectful of my time. I called him because I saw his reviews , I just bought a car from dealership and my car (2002 chevy prizm) was shaking bad and I been notified by the other mechanic that one cylinder is dead and has no compression , he gave me some ideas over the phone .he showed up tomorrow and he confirmed that too. he said he needs to take the head off to make sure what is causing it.he took many parts out to remove the head. when I got there he was struggling and he said he can not ,he needs special tools for bolts and comes back tomorrow.but he never showed up ,never respond to my phones or texts ,I even offered him I will buy any tools if you need just make your job done now I was screwed parts were out everywhere ,car was not drivable . I called mechanic , I had to tow the car and take all removed parts to there.it cost me $120 for tow. now mechanic called me and said whoever worked on the car he screwed the bolts with the wrong screw driver inside the head and he is been fighting for 5 hours to take it out and cost me more. and that is why he gave up because he screwed up and knew he won't able to get it done. his communication was so unrespectful and rude .I even asked him if you do not like to do the job just let me know.i should know what I have to do.still no respond.he has some attitudes .without him I could save more money and not tow the car .my experience with him was horrible . it would cover everything if he at least respect my calls and even he would say NO!!!!

On a saturday evening I was driving along when my trucks dash readout said to "shut off engine now". Oil pressure at 0. So I pulled off the road into a parking lot and left it overnight. Monday morning I had to be on the job with a truckload of equipment and since there aren't any garages open on sunday I figured I was in a real predicament. Did a search online and scott popped up. I called him thinking there's no way he would be available at such short notice. Over the phone, he gave me three options on what it may be. Two of which were fairly simple but nothing I could have attempted to fix. He had other appointments, but, said he had enough time to come out, assess, and fix it right away. He had it fixed within an hour and I was able to make it to work Monday morning. Didn't have to arrange tow or wait a whole day while the truck was in the shop. Scott rules!! I would highly recommend him.

I don't know why more mechanics don't offer "house call" service, but Scott's Mobile Mechanic was great!



After coming back from a lengthy vacation, my emergency brakes would not disengage. The issue had a potentially simple fix (which made it seem silly to spend money on a tow) but I didn't really want to take it on myself and risk damaging more things.



So I called Scott. He came out and within 10 minutes had the issue resolved--all for a cost less than what I would have paid for a tow service, not counting whatever labor costs a shop would charge. Great service, definitely recommend him!

Dead car - 3 kids…and late Friday night. Got a ride home and called Scott Saturday at 8am. By noon I was home with my car - and not out a lot of money. Even though the job took him slightly longer than anticipated, he didn't increase the price. He's on my speed dial!
