Carol is Amazing, especially in dealing with our Roger who can be and is at times, a "handful"!! She knows canine behavior, as if she can "read minds"! (I call her a "voodoo" person). Carol went out of her way to help us with Roger after his double ACL surgery, coming to our house on a weekend!!

Roger actually respects and obeys Carol; we drive up for an eye drop administration which he will not let us administer. She and Marie have a special way with the pups.

Socialization is so important for our Senior Beagles; they love being with their Friends.

And they love Carol and Marie.

This is the best doggy daycare place in the valley. Teresa and Carol are both fantastic with our dogs. We have two that come here, one husky and one yorkie. All the dogs play very well together. There is great supervision and at the end of the day, my dogs come home very tired :)

I hope they stick around forever... or at least until my dogs stop needing exercise!

Our little 6 pound "Morkie" has been coming here for nearly 4 years, starting when he was a tiny puppy. Because of the great socialization he's received from the Lucky Dog staff, he's completely secure and self-confident around other dogs, nearly all of whom are much bigger than he is.

Being at Lucky Dog is always a joyous time for him, and I drop him off feeling relieved that he's not home alone, or stuck waiting for me in the car while I run errands.

Lucky Dog Day Camp is a great little business run by Teresa, with additional help from Carol. Both women show a strong committment to caring for these family members who happen to be dogs.

Lucky Dog Day Camp is a great place for your K9 friend. Our two labs have been LD Day campers for the past 3 years and they love it! As soon as we drive up to Lucky Dog our older pooch starts to wag uncontrollably (hitting himself in the head at times with his tail) due to the fact that he is so excited to get out of the car and join in on the fun that is to be had inside. It is such a relief to know that there is a facility for which we can frequent, that can be trusted to take our dogs safety and wellbeing so seriously. The staff has years of experience in animal care and are some of the nicest people you will meet. We have personally recommend Lucky Dog to everyone we know who is a dog owner. Thank you to Theresa and the rest of the staff.. you guys are great!!!

My dog Couper started going to Lucky Dog when he was a puppy. My main goal for him was socialization. We live in the country so he doesn't get to be around other dog much. Not only did he learn to play with other dogs, but he learned to place a ball in my hand, sit when going in and out of a door and over all well pet behavior. Teresa is a great. The arts and craft Couper comes home with are the best. I can't believe the attention to detail he has. I would highly recommend Teresa and Carol at Lucky Dog. They are fantastic.

My dog has been going to day camp since they opened 1 to 2 days a week. Thanks to Thersa he has become much more socialized. I say let's go to day care and he gets so excited. We have never had a bad experience and they have worked with me on many issues. I have recommended them to friends and will continue to do so. I have a lot of trust in the staff and that means I can leave my family member with no worries.

I take my dog Olivia to Lucky Dog each friday, for the past 3 years. She has such a good time with all of the dogs, and it has served as socialization for her, as she lives alone with me. I so appreciate both Teresa and Carol, and feel that my dog is safe and happy while she is there. It is a pleasure to have such a nice place for my dog.

Thank you so much.....

We are very thankful for Lucky Dog and have been taking our dog there for 3 years. Our dog has blossomed since taking her there. When we got her from the animal shelter she was afraid of other dogs and most people. it was very sad. After a few months of going to Lucky Dog she started initiating communicationwith dogs when we would go for a walk-she use to try to avoid them by crossing the street. Our dog is very sensitive to her surroundings. She gets upset easy if people aren't relaxed and calm. She is always happy to see Teresa. When we pick her up from Lucky Dog she is always happy, energetic and playful.this may not sound like a big deal but for our dog it is a very big deal and Teresa has played a large part in helping us with her. I think the world of her and know that she cares deeply for the dogs that she cares for. We are very protective of our dog because of her past and we trust Lucky Dog Day Camp more than anyone else to take the best care of her.

My best buddy, Noah, (Aussie) ...

My best buddy, Noah, (Aussie) has been going to Lucky Dog since he was about 12 weeks old. He is now 2 and a half. Noah's demeanor is always very positive and happy whenever we pull up to the Lucky Dog door. Teresa and her staff have always been polite, professional and informative. They have been able to tell me how my dog interacts with the other dogs and how he has improved as he has matured. I am also always alerted to any health issues that they pick up that I may have missed.

Noah is so very well socialized with other dogs, which would have been impossible for me to accomplish with my work schedule. Now, ehenever we encounter other dogs on our walks or at the dog park, he is a "social butterfly" and easily engages with other dogs who are also social and friendly. I attribute that to not only his exposure to the other dogs, but the supervision he has received and feedback from Teresa & Carol when he is doing things correctly as well as when he need correction.

He comes home tired out and well cared for. I have never witnessed any overcrowding or lack of supervision. He has never had an incident or accident during the 2 and a half years he has been attending "camp". I recommend Lucky Dog for anyone considering such a facility for their "best friend".

Our dog's a Happy Camper!

He was a charter member of the pack, starting the first month Lucky Dog opened 4 years ago - and has been going several times a week ever since! We have referred Lucky Dog to many, many people -- and each one has reported back that they are thrilled to have a happy, safe place for their dogs to play and socialize. Teresa is professional, kind, and caring -- and her background as a vet tech shows. Who else could get dogs to line up to have their teeth brushed? Lucky Dog exceeds expectations -- just ask our dog :)

I have been taking my dog to Lucky Dog for almost 2 years without any issues. She looks SO forward to her days at camp! Teresa is so kind and caring; I have even had her dogsit for me at her home during my vacations--I trust her that much. My dog always comes home from camp tired from all the play but definitely happy. I will continue to keep using Lucky Dog to keep my dog feeling truly lucky.

Lucky Dog Day Camp has been a great help with my at times difficult dog. Teresa and staff have worked hard to socialize her and provide feedback to how she is progressing. They were able to identify stressors that create anxiety and work with me to help relieve those stressors. The techniques and advice they have provided have helped me to become the dominent leader within my relationship with my dog and she has become much more compliant.

My experience at Lucky Dog Day Camp continues to be extremely positive. Teresa and her staff put the safety of my dog and all the dogs in their care first. Tesesa's attention to individualized care for each pet is superb. I am an overly involved pet owner and my pets' care can be challenging. I found her ability to be patient with my needs for myself and my pet to be exemplary. Keep up the good work!

I have three pugs. They are my kids. I do not trust their care with many people. I am an over protective pug owner. The first time I visited Lucky Dog I fell in love with this this day camp. My pugs and I felt welcome. It provided a great atomosphere. Being over protective I would randomly stopped by to see my pugs and observe how they are doing and how the staff is working with them. The staff encouraged me to do this so I could have a peace of mind. I found the staff are very vigilant about monitoring and giving all the dogs love and attention. They really spend one on one time with each dog. I love the structure as well as the free play. All of my pugs have had their birthday parties at the day camp. The staff made treats for all of the dogs and we had a birthday celebration. The owner of the day camp "Teresa" is a remarkable women. She is exceptionally knowledgeable about proper dog care, She exceeds the standards. She is a true dog lover and advocate. I can not imagine taking my pugs to another place. We give Lucky Dog Day Camp two thumbs up.

NOT a place that's safe for anyone! Usually only 1 person per 20+ dogs. Multiple fights regularly w/o any sort of response from supervising personnel. Dogs left alone multiple times during the day--up to 15 min at a time! Refuse to have webcam or allow owners to view their dog's interaction with other dogs at their facility--Have said they wouldn't want the owners to see their dogs "corrected"! Do not trust them with your best friend. You will regret it!

I am sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with Lucky Dog Day Camp. I just wanted to address some of your concerns. The average day consists of 15-18 dogs. There may be 20 dogs on the schedule but we have campers who attend half days. So the number of dogs on the schedule does not reflect how many dogs are in the back at one time. In the last 2 years we have had one altercation. Our protocol when something like that happens is to call the owner immediately, offer to get the animal veterinary service if necessary, write an incident report, and follow up with the owner. Dogs are only left alone when staff is accepting or moving dogs from the pack. The dogs all line up at the gate to meet the new addition or see if it is their turn to go home. I have never had a problem during this time. I do have owners who let me know if there have been any changes in routine that may affect their dog's behavior or if they have any concerns about their pet that they would like me to monitor. We do not have a webcam due to cost. Originally, we put in a window so that owners may watch their dogs play; however, the dogs stop playing when they hear the bell that alerts that someone has entered the building. Whenever a person looked through the window the dogs would bark and jump at the fence which increased the chance that a dog could get hurt. So,we now cover the window when clients come in to drop off or pick up. Our "corrections" include:spray from a water bottle, being put on a lead held by staff while within the pack to give a small correction or positive reenforcement to change a behavior, or a slight touch to refocus the dog. The slight touch is a technique that many of our clients use to redirect a dog's behavior. It is a quick, light touch around the neck area just to get their attention. We do our best to ensure the safety of all of our campers. Many of our clients have been with us since 2007 and most have brought their dogs in for more than a year. Many of my clients came to me from veterinary referrals or upon advice from a dog trainer. I stand by Lucky Dog Day Camp's safety record and committment to the safety and well-being of all the dogs in our care.
