Metro Towing

I had the same experience with these folks as others - HORRIBLE! I waited over 6 hours for them to come pick me up after getting into a car accident. My insurance company called them, and kept getting a run around from the guy at this tow company.

I give them 4 stars.

It's unfortunate, but when our cars break down , we are under great stress, yet i realize that towe companies travel in wide radius. They can not humanely snap their fingers and be at our side when in need. Although it took a while to have my car towed, they kept in contact with me and were extremely curtious.

It's to our advantage to be patient and wait for others to help us. The damage is done when the car breaks down. I'm grateful for the service and the friendly staff.

We must show more gratitude and it'll change our attitude and perspective on the world around us.

Called AAA for a tow and they called this company. First, we were told 60 minutes or less. They didn't show. Then it was 25 minutes. Then another 25 minutes. Then 15 minutes. Then 60 minutes. 4 HOURS after the initial call, they finally showed. Each time we called AAA, they called Metro and were given a different excuse. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE SERVICE. NOT ONE TIME did anyone from this company call us to give any kind of update. They don't deserve the one star I had to give them.

Well it's been 2 hours and counting so I called them and just wanted to know the ETA, I'm usually a reasonable person thinking that they might be in traffic or what not, but whoever was on the other side of the line was rude and uncalled for. The lack of customer service and professionalism will not get my recommendation. Don't use these guys F Them. They are lucky I HAD to give them a star.

Exact same experience as others on this site have noted. On Sept. 8 at 9:15 AM, I called AAA for tow from my home to auto repair shop. Was advised by AAA that tow would arrive no later than 10:35 AM. The tow actually arrived at 2:40 PM. Numerous phone calls to AAA with them calling the tow company who kept making promises that a tow driver would arrive in the next 30 - 35 minutes. Then they shortened it to the next 15-20 minutes, then 5-10 minutes. When the tow driver finally arrived, it was apparent that this behavior is the dispatchers mode of operation, lie to the customer, give them time frames that he knows can not be met. The customer will wait. After all, they have invested an hour already, so what is another 2-3 hours. I have more of an issue with AAA. They must know the awful track record of this company, so why subject their customers to this company. Why do they continue doing business with Metro Tow? A complaint letter was also filed with AAA regarding their culpability.

So unbelievably bad. Worst towing company ever. They just abandoned me and my car on the side of the road. The guy who answered they phone has an IQ of 15. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid this towing company

This company is a joke. I had the exact same experience as a lot of the other reviewers. I was told a tow truck would arrive in 40 minutes, it did not arrive for almost 4 hours. I called every 30 minutes after the first 40 and the flat out lied every time saying the truck would arrive in 15-20. Thank god I wasn't in a high traffic location. Do not use them.

After my car blew a head gasket on I295 USAA facilitated a tow from Metro Towing. They arrived 15mins before their scheduled arrival and the driver was very cool even when he helped push my car up back to the road so his truck could hook it up correctly. Needingredients a tow is frustrating as it is and my driver helped get me out of the way and back home safely.

USAA scheduled a towing with this company. Arrived 1:45 minutes after their ETA. Total of 3 hours of wait time , calling did not help, unprofessional.

We got hit and needed a tow truck. Geico scheduled them to come in an hour. An hour and a half passes. We call Metro and the guy says "Oh where are you? Yeah I will get a driver out there in like another 45 minutes" We immediately said You were supposed to have a driver here an hour ago and they said "Well the driver hasn't left yet so you tell me if you want me to cancel cause believe me I will" Piece of crap people. Also heard this company has had 4 fatalities because they are so unprofessional and DUMB.

I scheduled a tow for the next day, but they did not show up at the scheduled time. After 45 minutes, I called and was told the tow truck would arrive in 20 more minutes. An hour later than that I called again...and was told 20 minutes. I finally cancelled them and called another tow service, who arrived in just 35 minutes. NEVER use Metro Towing! I will also report them to AAA and the local Better Business Bureau.

If i could select 0 stars I would! Haven't used this company and after seeing the way one of the drivers acts on the road I NEVER will! I was driving theough a residential area when the driver get behind me. He was driving less than a foot away from the tail end of my car. He passed me in a no pass zone. Then sped away only to do a u-turn in the middle of the road to come back to a store that he passed while speeding around me. Parked across at least 2 spaces. When leaving the store he came close to running into 2 other cars. I don't recommend using this company because this driver is out of control, who knows what might happen to your car...

My tow truck never showed up. Every time I called for over two hours I was told just 20 more minutes. My issue isn't that they were busy. That happens, but they didn't have the courtesy to decline the service request and let me get another tow company out there. It makes its appear they were milking the service call. Not a place I would voluntarily do business with. .

Delbert Power was my knight in a tow truck who came to my recuse ! He provided excellent service and made sure I was safe and taken care of. Kudos to Delbert and thanks for such prompt and professional service.! Which was such a relief after being left on the side of the road for 3hours because of some foul place called pop a lock.

Worst ever 2 hour wait and worst customer service. I can't believe how awful this company was. How do you show up over 2 hours later when they scheduled a certain ETA. Worst company ever I can't stress it.

Used them through USAA insurance's roadside assistance and the driver shows up 20 minutes late(no biggie). What bothered me about this guy is that he proceeds to try and tell me how the destination is 11 miles further than the company dispatcher and I discussed, and that I had already paid for in advance. When he realized that I was ahead of the game, he changes his stance and starts to tell me how he was "going to take momma out for dinner, but I didn't cause I thought that this was going to be a cash call." This was attempt #1 at getting more money from this call. Then he calls me an hour later and acts confused as to where he was going. He confirmed the address before he left my house. When I brought that up to him, again he changes gears and says that he only has a 1/4 tank of gas and he doesn't think that he will be able to make the whole trip there and back. This was attempt#2 at getting more money.

Sadly some people would fall for these lame tactics. Hopefully at least one will read this review and choose another company.
