Emergency & Critical Care Pet Hospital

My husband and I wanted to not only thank but praise the excellent quality of care we received for our dog and the customer service received by the staff last night. We arrived terrified as our Yorkie could not pass two pups after laboring for an extensive period of time, (another clinic closest to us refused to perform the ems c - section because we could not pay in full well over $2000 and sent her way to die with the puppies stuck inside her). When we arrived at Emergency & Critical Care Pet Hospital everyone of the office staff members were not only professional but showed compassion towards our situation, they listened and understood and had a top priority of saving the dogs life. The nurse and doctor were attentive after the surgery and spent the time to train and educate us on how to care for the puppy who they miraculously saved. They treated us and our dog with respect and compassion and you could see that they had chosen the animal profession because they cared about animals. They gave us a fair and reasonable price for the c - section which was much lower than the other hosipital and helped us get approved for additional credit care to cover the costs of operation. We want to truly thank the staff for not only giving quality care, but caring about our dogs life and unborn puppies. Our dog is our life and my sister who lives with down syndrome cherishes the dog greatly as she brings such joy and improves the quality of her life. We will always recommend Emergency & Critical Care for the quality and compassionate service to anyone.

I came here a few months back because My dog has been acting strange and I was worried. I went inside and was greeted with a cold hello and was then brought to the exam room. The lady said that the doctor should be with us in a little bit. So we waited, for thirty minutes. She came back saying, "Oh! the doctor is doing surgery right now, but she can take a look at your dog since her hands are free at the moment but cannot leave the OR. Is it okay if I take your dog with me to her?" and I said okay. In short, I never got to meet the vet her/himself. When it was time to pay the bill it came up to 400 dollars so they charged it on my card. It went through the first time but then they told me that it didnt, so I called my bank and asked them what's going on. they said it went through and that it should be good to go. But the lady from the ER said that it didnt and that she couldnt give me any of the services I required. And she couldn't even give me a receipt that says it didnt go through. So I went home empty-handed minus the 80 dollars service charged and got nothing out of them but disappointment and more worried and so upset than I ever was.

This place is a scam! I took my cat in, who was drooling and had very bad breath, for an exam. The vet spent two minutes looking at him, then decided he could not diagnose him without bloodwork, which would cost an additional $240. I told them I could not afford this, they then proceeded to hold my cat hostage until I paid $70 for an exam that provided no information and was not very thorough. The next day, my cat was properly diagnosed by a qualified vet with an abscessed tooth with just an exam, no blood work or other tests necessary. The vet at emergency and critical care was either incompetent in not seeing this simple problem, or was deliberately trying to pad his pockets by suggesting testing that was not necessary for a proper diagnosis. Stay far away from these people, they care more about making money then they do about taking care of your pets!
